How many "good" games would you say Jalen has had this season?

And like I said if that happened, then your conclusion would thus be he just randomly got a permanent "hot streak"... If you go from a player is trash to they're suddenly good in the same season, then your analysis is terrible.

Ime has shown very little confidence in Cam. I wouldnt be threatened by him at all if I were Jalen. Should he be? maybe but if Im Jalen he isnt my comp its like Amen. If Amen keeps looking like a two way star and i know jabari cant get his own shot and needs a point the logical choice would be to sit jalen and start Amen if he has the balls. because jalen can get a shot anytime he wants it just doesnt go in enough.

Off the top of my head, probably something like 7.

If he stayed "hot", then it would not just be a streak, it would be actual improvement, it would mean he graduated from streaky to actually good.

I know this is confusing, but take some time to think it out, I promise it makes sense.

So, if he had 6 good games out of 7, you’d still think he was just “streaky?” Y’all are starting to sound more and more ridiculous.

He had an 8 game hot streak last season before going back to being terrible...so yeah, that's his MO

I have him at 16 "good" games.... So more than double the amount you have, but I'll be charitable and say maybe you're not watching all the games.

Your conclusion going from he's terrible at ball to then randomly... suddenly good... in the same season is bad analysis because it ignores the prior not just notable improvements, but aspects were he's been actually good... Any analysis that comes to that is ignoring things because players don't just go from trash to good... Development and progression doesn't work like that.

Yeah his defense has been solid this season.... his finishing tho has been legitimately great and that's with a lot of off the dribble self creation at the rim.

As I said, I was going off the top of my head, I didn't look it up, and I'm a Rockets fan rather than a Jalen Green fan so I don't have his every moment memorized like some.

Doing a quick look, I can see a case for 11 or 12 good games not including tonight, so 12 or 13 total...which is good. Now factor in that 7 of htose have been recent....so there weren't many good games until fairly recently....which is why there would have been comments about him not playing well earlier this season....you know, because he wasn't.

When it comes to Jalen, he's good when he's hitting shots, he's not when he's not. So it's not "suddenly good" so much as it is hot shooting vs cold shooting. He's literally always been a streaky shooter....that's nothing new.

    He pretty much goes as his 3 pointer goes. In his 9 20+ bball gamescore games he's 46-98 from 3, 47%. In his 19 crappy games, he's 23-115, 20%. His 8 medium games he's 23-77, 30%.

This just isn't true. He's had quite a few "good games" this season early on where he didn't shoot well that I'm near positive you are ignoring.

I know this is a hard concept to understand, but you can have good games without having an efficient game.

I know, that if you try and think hard enough, that you can understand this concept.

All he needed is the consistency and we are seeing that now. Really happy for him.

He would have to sit DIllion. No way in hell that happens.

Jalen is averaging 22 on really good efficiency since Thanksgiving. Just gotta keep stacking.

I actually think he might've figured it out . We will see how the league adjusts.

Jalen is coming out either the 1st or 3rd really ready to raise the bar athletically and is getting confidence from that and also shooting well.

This is the hardest I've seen him play for a 5+ game stretch .

Let's hope he stays healthy and keeps it up

Why not? Dillion is not long term. Sometimes his shots are questionable and just forced.

I'm gonna hold you to your own standard: do you have any Jalen data to show it's good 3's that lead to 2's rather than good 2's leading to 3's? I'm 99.99% sure you don't. So this is one of those posts where you fill it up with statistics but the false assumption already infected all the data.

16/35 games is good for 45%. Here's the rub though. Jalen is and always has been streaky. That's what he does. So he'll go on a week or two long heater and then sink back into the upside down for a month. Since I know which 16 games you're referring to (basically the 16 where his gamescore is above 10) this stretch of BOS/LAL/WAS is the first time since the beginning of the season he's had a decent 3 game stretch.

Is he turning it around? No. But when someone at the craps table has hot dice it sure is fun as hell. The last 3 games Jalen has shot 40(!) 3s. Made 17 of them for 43%. 12 pts higher than his career average. Before that he had gone 15/59 from 3 good for 25%.

Lets enjoy the hot dice while the degenerate gambler has them.

20/4/2 on 43% from the field and 32% from three over his last 20 games.

    Literally just his career averages...
