Keep in mind that Jalen is our leading scorer and that Sengun shoots 21% from 3...

Think hard about this, it could be Jalen Green.

It should be Amen before Jalen, in reality the only player in the running is Sengun.

Jalen is 151st in EPM this season, i don't see why he can't be an allstar. He's clearly a top 150 guy at this point IMO.

Sengun has the best +/-,PER, VORP and literally any other number you want to use to measure impact. If the Rockets have a top record in the league the team will 100% get a rep and that will be Sengun.

Jalen Green has, at best, been our 5th most impactful player this season when he's on the floor. He occasionally has good scoring games and does nothing else.

There is no discussion, I sure hope the stans are finally right and Green plays well enough to make it one, but there isn't one right now.

Honestly, I'd give not just Sengun, but also Brooks or Amen all-star consideration before JG. I appreciate Jalen's defensive improvement this season, but he's by no means an elite defender, and his offense is the same as it's ever been--not good enough to be an all-star.

They should make a law that you have to pass a statisical modeling exam to be able to access "epm" or "LEBRON" numbers and use them in arguments.

Jalen Green doesn't deserve to be an all-star this season.

And to be frank Sengun doesn't either. He'd have to be an all-star as a offensive player and his offensive efficiency is not simply high enough to be a all-star big man.

But he still deserves it more than Jalen this season but the gap is closer than "EPM" suggests.

hot take, but i don't think any of our players deserve an all-star. we are a complete team and everyone has a role to perform which unfortunately doesn't let anyone shine on an every-night basis.

I think Green's impact is higher than someone like Brooks or Bari simply for the fact that he carried wins as the clear best player on like 6 games this season especially the early wins like against the Mavs or Spurs where he was the only viable clutch option in the fourth.

Even NBA commentators watching the game say stuff like "Green is the only guy they have in the perimeter who truly can bend defenses".

And with Green's significant defensive consistency improvements, he doesn't lose the Rockets games as much as previous seasons when he isn't on fire.

If it's anyone, it's Sengun. Jalen is not in any all star discussion; I'd sooner give the nod to Aaron Holiday.

I pride myself in being measured with my takes like this. See my post above. Its obvious you have a hard time with measured criticism of Green .makes your takes sound unhinged and then no one listens to it as it just sounds like the ramblings of a homeless schizophrenic.
