Scruggs deserves to be a starter. He's been solid when he had playing time. He's been better than Mason

"Every time I watched Ladd on tape I kept saying how can we find a way to go and get this guy.The way he separates" -Demeco on Vandercarrschaub's show today
    Then why didn't you, Mayne?

He always talks about separation and ability to make first down over size when talking about receivers he wants said the same thing before acquiring Diggs.
So far I only have 3 receivers in the late 1st- 2nd round area that are great separators

    Sign Kelly

Draft Booker in rd 1. I like Milum a lot too and can't decide who I want them to pick.

Rd. 2' pick best CB available or DT. Strength of draft

    Rd.3 trade for Mayer

True, at least for the playoffs.

He cant be trusted to stay healthy during the regular season. He will make a great IOL depth piece though.

    Dionte Johnson can separate.

    Golden/Bond/Bolden can separate.

    Re-sign Johnson

Sign Ryan Kelly/Bo Melton in FA

    Draft Booker or Milam

    Draft Golden or Bolden

    Trade for Mayer

    Best CB you can get.

They'd be fools to not draft him if he drops that far... Yes they have more definite needs but a strong 1-2 rushing attack minimizes them with this defense

Checkout Savion Williams WR TCU, he's one of my guys and worth a 2nd rd pick.

    20. Houston Texans (10-7): Jonah Savaiinaea, OT/G, Arizona*

C.J. Stroud had a bit of a sophomore slump, and poor play from the Texans' O-line was a contributing factor. Houston tied for the third-most pass blocking losses in the league (210) and wasn't much better in the run game, as its guards' 66.4% run block win rate was the fifth worst in the NFL.

The 6-foot-5, 336-pound Savaiinaea is a stoutly built blocker who plays with a sturdy base and has powerful hands. He allowed only one sack this season and can play tackle and guard, though he projects best inside in the NFL

    9. [IMG] Houston Texans: Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee [IMG]
The Texans could use more interior defensive line talent.

The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Norman-Lott is a quick gap-shooting defensive tackle capable of putting pressure on the quarterback. In 2024, he has 18 tackles and four sacks while being disruptive for the Volunteers. In 2023, Norman-Lott showed pass-rush ability with 5.5 sacks and 26 tackles with Arizona State. Norman-Lott looks more muscular and much tougher against the run with Tennessee than he did with the Sun Devils.

I hate that they always do draft predictions BEFORE free agency. I mean it is what it is, but things change.

Diontae Johnson showed me a little something, something vs TENN. He has some elite level quicks to get in and out of breaks and is aggressive with his hands. Man would it be a revelation if he pops for the playoffs.

If I could trade for Mayer yes.

After checking out Savion Williams last night, he would be my pick in rd. 2.

Put Booker, Mayer, Williams and D. Johnson on this offense and you will have a top tier offense.

Then target a S or CB in rd 4 that you really like even if that means trading up a bit and let's roll. If you draft the S then get a CB in fa, or vice versa.

I'm not sure if Im there with Mayer. If you sign Kelly at center then I think skill positions are back on the menu for the 1st round. Not sure I'd be locked into OL as a must as the players we have currently sans Kenyon Green could jostle for the 2 guard spots and look for value in the middle rounds. If we do nothing to shore up OL before draft then pick 1 becomes a given.

Ward probably goes first now. Travis to browns and Shadeur to Giants.
