I am not a validator. I seek correction. Don't come to me for validation.

The difference is such that I don't criticize you for needing validation. There are plenty of people out there just like you. You don't need the entire world to think like you.

No right to free speech in Muslim countries, and under leftist-authoritarian rule.

They want to cover up their pedophilia enablement.

Trump should go after these criminals.

You are definitely the type of beta who has a Muslim acquaintance and wouldn't have it within them to explain to them how they are evil even if you know that individual will not pose any physical harm to you and just think you are a *******. And you do it all out of the concept of "cordiality". The reality is you are just a beta cuck.

Herp derp. Laws against enslaving people, clearly the state encroaching on freedom. Your argument would be really good, if my argument was that all laws should be abolished. It is not. Government has a legitimate purpose in defending the freedom of people from other people. Laws against murder, rape, theft, etc. are all within the legitimate purview of government. Laws against what you can say, what you can eat or drink or smoke, laws against what tools you can own. Those are government interference in your life. Your argument makes no sense at all in response to the quoted text, which was itself a response to a claim about why the North fought the Civil War.

What about government regulations on forcing employees to do things like pay overtime at a certain point?

What do you think I was arguing? I was pointing out that governments must sometimes "interfere" in the lives of people in order to protect the freedoms of other people. I disagree with your earlier statement "When we say freedom, we mean the government not interfering in people's lives, just like freedom has meant for hundreds of years." The issue of freedom as it pertains to enslaved people wasn't about freedom from government interference. Just the opposite.

People should be free to negotiate whatever terms of employment on which they can come to an agreement.

Do laborers have the same negotiating power as people who own capital?

If not do you agree they should be able to organize and form unions to have fair negotiation power?

I agree with all of it. Liberal societies require constant discussion amd dialogue in order to understand and face the realities of tolerance and multiculturalism. It's a bit of game theory where factions hold each other in check and grow from "friendly competition" from forced cultural exchanges.

Suppressing or blanketing the truth in order to preserve a veneer of unity allows problems to fester where "free riders" exploit that good faith of liberal secularism in order to horn in unfair advantages or even worse nefarious purposes outlined by the Muslim Brotherhoods stated intentions of da'wah to "spread influence to non Muslim nations and create Islamic states".

I have and had muslim friends and colleagues who drink and are as Americanized as anyone here. I don't really expect that minority to carry some flag as standard bearer or "do the right thing" whenever their more radicalized cousins take Islam down a notch.

We've been dealing with this issue for more than half a decade, beyond 9/11 and back to plane hijackings or clerics issuing death orders. Silence hasn't been the answer.

I suspect it's like the homeless problem in blue states where people start avoiding and waiting for officials and experts to provide a good answer, when polling and accountability mechanisms never put them in the hot seat to think and try unproven and risky solutions.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on how replaceable they are. Patrick Mahomes has more negotiating power than the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds. Is there a reason that parties with different negotiation power cannot come to an agreement?
If people want to form a union, go for it. My problems with labor law relate to things like the NLRB, not the private formation of unions.
