I wouldn't say he had two bad games in a row, it just wasn't franchise player worthy like performances. But he will bounce back
Chickens coming home to roost for Sengun fans..You spent all year & last year waving your finger at every player BUT Alperen Sengun. Everybody sucks but Sengun followed by excuses for his poor player..But the reality is we're still a very good team WITHOUT him. We can still beat good teams with him on the bench. Has is he our best player when the team flourishes without him?
He got burned several times in the game and didnt rebound.... Thank God for Adams. Not pointing fingers but if that were Jalen, this board would be lit up with TRADE PROPOSALS. And I think it shows the obvious bias on this board towards Sengun and Jalen by some. If Sengun has a few bad games, the theme is "HE'LL BOUNCE BACK", however if Jalen has a few bad games, it's "LETS TRADE HIM."
Again, not pointing fingers but shooting less than 50%, when 95% of those shots are within 5ft to me is not good.
Lakers were 10-26 (38 %) against Sengun as the defender. 6 of the 10 makes were threes. Lakers were 4-5 (80%) against Green as the defender.
Not pointing fingers but waiting for a down Sengun game to post negatively on Sengun shows obvious bias. isn’t it so weird that people think the player who is usually good will bounce back? They should expect him to be bad forever because he had a bad game, lol. That’s what you hope but it doesn’t happen.
I agree with this, and I have been saying it for a long time. The coaching staff should address it with him.
Sengun and Jonas embrace in a long hug after nearly throwing punches last season. Some of you wankers that troll could learn a few things.
What annoys me more is when he misses a rebound or a shot and he hangs his head and just gives up on immediately playing defense and has missed a few rebound opportunities because of this. It also gets in his head and he misses more. He had improved significantly last season in this regard but has regressed mightily this year.
He’s not hustling nearly as much on defense as he did in the beginning of the year. Not challenging shots like he was earlier (and it’s showing in the blocks going down). Nor is he rebounding as aggressively. I suspect he thinks the fall in his offensive production is due to the energy he was extending in those areas …but he’s wrong.
