BTW what makes this win sweeter is all the West teams who won tonight: Kings Pels Utah Not only is it nice to see GSW pounded by 30 it also makes PHX worse.
But thats the wrong way of looking at it lol. Playing a year in the NBA whether you win a ring or not is superior to being out of the NBA. By your logic someone who played 2 yrs and got 2 rings is better than someone who played 10 yrs and got 2 rings. Thats just ass backwards.. Lebron is more of a Magic player than a MJ player. He got more assists than MJ thats why it took him longer to get more 30 pt games.
Tracy McGrady gets no credit for his one time of being on a playoff roster passed the first round because... hurt his legacy more than anything.
Wemby is now officially a top 10 player in the NBA. maybe top 5 even. Rox still destroy him though thankfully.
Pretty crazy stat - other than Amen (4) and Alpi (2) not a single other Rockets player had a turnover.
Being so washed that you could not record a single trash time minute with the Spurs is far more embarrassing than Scottie playing in Finland.
Great game tonight from most players. Amen - great. The way he uses his athleticism is phenomenal. Kind of hoping Jabari ends up out for the season for the sole reason that it'll make my Amen for MIP bet at $350 odds skyrocket. Jalen - great, on both ends. Adams - great, best game I've seen him play by a mile as a Rocket. Lakers hunted him and Sengun with picks for a period and had success with it, thankfully didn't keep at it. Was absolutely weird to not feature Sengun once in the post the entire game... then do it a couple of times in a row and expect success with the game clock under 6 minutes to go and winning time here. Honestly poor from Udoka, would be different if he was getting touches to feel a rhythm throughout the game prior to that point. Cam - again showing he is a must off the bench right now for that instant offense. Not often the team wins when Sengun is playing an average game by his standards, so glad they bucked the trend against the Lakers.
I'll admit my mistake. He did get some playoff minutes. Just nothing in the regular season. Those minutes matter just like in the ABA and NCAA for who qualifies in the hall of fame.
Lol you do understand Jordan took soo many more shots than Bron right? Bron wasn't a scorer he didn't shoot 30/40 shots every night like Jordan's and Kobe so him getting to 30 points wasn't ever a goal. There is so much more to basketball than scoring. LeBron passed MJ in total points in 1942 less shots.. that's impressive. If LeBron shot as much as them he'd have way more 30 point games but he instead he plays basketball the right way. How many more assists does LeBron have than MJ?
When Jalen has his good games it sure is fun to watch. Also Steven Adams has rounded into shape extremely well. Sengun was awful, when your best player plays that poorly and you still win against a quality opponent, that's a good thing.
Who cares about the 30 point record? These are all just cherry picked stats on random numbers. Like I told the other guy. LeBron passed Jordan in scoring with 1942 less shots. It's not about how many games you play. It's literally about being more efficient. Oh and LeBron passed Jordan in assists years ago. There is so much more to ball than scoring. If Bron wanted to be a scorer he could have 20 scoring titles. Problem is he only has 1 season where he ever took the most shots in the league. While Jordan did it every season by a large margin. Yes we can all agree he isn't as good anymore. He's not been great this year and doesn't play defense at all. He saves himself and plays only in spurts still doesn't take away my original point which is noting he does right now should hurt his legacy. I also hate the rings argument the most. Rings is about teams. Jordan played on one of the most stacked teams ever that won 55 games without him. Every team Bron has played for and left went straight to the lottery. He had 60 win teams going to first picks in the draft. Dude carried some of the worst teams you have ever seen to the finals. And why is that championships are all that matters. Jordan played 15 years only won 6. If you want to look at team success in lebrons best 15 years then. LeBron was better than Jordan 9/15 seasons. Jordan was better 2/15 and they tied in 4 seasons. So why is 2>9?
Lets say hypothetically MJ and Lebron are tied for goat - who would you want taking the game winner? Easy question
Once again such a bad question. I would rather Bron have the ball because I know he will make the right play. It's not really about who shoots it, it's about what kinda shot you can get. Yall knock him for driving to basket drawing 3 defenders and passing to a wide open shooter? Like that's a good play. People make and miss shots. As a passer he has the most game winners in playoff history. You say he's not clutch for passing I applaud him for playing basketball the right way wish more players would have the vision, IQ and passing of Bron.
4 in 20 does not have the same ring as 4 in 15. The amount of ultimately irrelevant seasons LeBron has had is getting higher and higher. Not a good look for GOAT level players. And LeBron was not a Magic type player. That's propaganda. He has always been a score first player. That's why he's led most if not all of his teams in scoring and shots. Magic hardly ever led his teams in scoring or shots. In reality, LeBron is an Oscar Robertson type player, but on steroids. They could also be considered control first type players in that they controlled virtually all aspects of their teams. Either way, LeBron is not close to Magic.
