That is an interesting take, coming from someone who I assume did not vote for her.

I would say people who supported, campaigned for, and vote for Trump should be given the credit for us being stuck with him.

I certainly didn't vote for her. I think Trump is the lesser of the two evils but I don't trust him. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

    I don't disagree with that.

All of the interests that made passing this type of bill necessary.

Universal Healthcare should definitely be a thing. Everyone should agree.

I'll also elaborate on my post. I wouldn't mind paying extra taxes to make it happen. That's a matter of Han decency. Should never be political. It's very hard to trust Trump at his word but he has the ability to make it happen. I won't hold mu breath but no way Harris would have. Let's hope for the best

I don't think it's safe to say either one would definitely do something. I would believe that Harris would have a greater chance of making it happen simply because it is something she would be motivated to do. I have seen zero to show Trump is motivated to do it. The "Concepts of a plan" line comes to mind.

But I agree it shouldn't be political, and a tax increase to help fund it would be agreeable to me. I agree with most of your post.

I agree Trump hasn't showed anything to trust him. He's a despicable person but Harris is too. Trump has more power to make things happen. People don't like Harris. From people who work and worked with her tithe general public. They weren't voting for Harris but against Trump. I get that

The only worry for me is increasing the tax to the lower middle class. Tax the people who can afford it. I don't want people who are making their payments comfortably to start to struggle. I'd happily pay a little more than have that happen. You seem like a good person who would do the same. Much respect to you

Agreed. Any tax increases should definitely be targeted.

The increase in taxes would be offset by the reduction in overall Healthcare costs. No premiums, no co-pays, no deductibles. We pay more than any other country for Healthcare.

It's a win for everyone except those running the health insurance industries. They would need to reconfigure their business models.

I believe it would also spur entrepreneurship. How many people have stayed in jobs they hate because they need the health insurance? If we freed people from that relationship they could pursue starting their own businesses without worrying about the healthcare they or their family might need.

The only reason my step mother had a job was so she could provide insurance since my father was a small business owner.
