Thanks Buck. Thought you blocked me. Says here that didn't happen, just like it didn't with 99% of those that claimed the same. Too funny.

I've got the Titans plus the 7.5 Sunday

I've got the Pack giving the 9.5

I've got Dallas getting the 4

Thank me later for the picks.

I am about to sit down for brunch. They just put the Mimosa's on the table. Hope you got out last nite to enjoy the New Year Holiday.

Barkley should try for the record. The SuperBowl is not guaranteed. Nor is the rushing record. You play one game at a time. Never look to a future that is not guaranteed.

That said, I prefer Dickerson hold the record for now.

Not Saquon's decision to go for the record or not. The coaches 100% make those decisions. The coaches are paid to try and win chips. You get your team as ready as possible for the playoffs, whatever way you feel is best for the team. The team comes first.

Not sure what you mean by: "the Super Bowl is not guaranteed." "Never look to a future that is not guaranteed."

The playoffs are "guaranteed" to happen. And teams prepare themselves the best way possible. No right or wrong way to do that. If the Eagles do win it all, then some will say they did it right. If the Eagles get bounced in the wild-card round, then people will say they did it wrong.

NFL coaches don't care what fanboys say. Nor do they care what irrelevant talking heads say.

I think Jackson deserves MVP and Offensive Player of the Year this year. A lot of other quarterbacks have won both before and didn't do what he did this year.

He has done more than any QB in NFL history this year in 3 categories, which to me makes him deserve it more than someone like Barkley or Chase in my eyes.

    * First QB to ever throw 40 or more touchdowns with less than 5 interceptions.

    * First QB in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards and rush for 800 yards in a season.

If you go back 40 years the quarterbacks who won both MVP and Offensive Player of the year didn't do a lot of what Jackson did this year.

    2018 Mahomes, 2016 Ryan, 2013 Manning, 2007 Brady, 2004 Manning, 1995 Favre, 1992 Young, 1989 Montana
    and 1984 Marino

Only 4 of those quarterbacks scored 40 or more touchdowns, but none came close to Lamar's TD/INT ratio of 41/4 (INT for every 10.25 TDs). None of those 4 quarterbacks had 4 rushing touchdowns on top of that either. Mahomes and Brady had 2, and Marino and Manning didn't have any.

2018 Mahomes 50/12 (INT for every 4.17 TDs)
2007 Brady 50/8 (INT for every 6.25 TDs)
2004 Manning 49/10 (INT for every 4.9 TDs)
1984 Marino 48/17 INT for every 2.82 TDs)

He just broke Michel Vick's NFL record of 6,108 career rushing yards today and this is only his 7th year in the league. Vick played 13 seasons. That's crazy good.

Unbelievable. Lamar's ability to escape tacklers is crazy. He just forced 3 or 4 missed tackles escaping a sack and running for that first down. I wish CJ could do that.

Why are people saying he's the first receiver to get 1700 yards catching? Do they mean on the Bengals?

You'd be looking at VERY MINIMUM 2 firsts, probably more. You're trading that for a coach? Pretty crazy they haven't extended him though.

    Probably a 1st and 3rd? 1st and 2nd?

    I think I would?
    • Bill Parcells: In 1997, the New England Patriots traded Bill Parcells to the New York Jets for first-, second-, third-, and fourth-round draft picks over a two-year stretch, and $300,000 in charity donations.
    • Mike Holmgren: In 1999, the Green Bay Packers traded Mike Holmgren to the Seattle Seahawks for a second-round draft pick.
    • Bill Belichick: In 2000, the New York Jets traded Bill Belichick to the New England Patriots for a first-round pick in 2000, a fourth-round pick in 2001, and a fifth-round pick in 2001, along with a seventh-round pick in 2001.
    • Jon Gruden: In 2002, the Oakland Raiders traded Jon Gruden to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and $8 million in cash.
    • Herm Edwards: In 2006, the New York Jets traded Herm Edwards to the Kansas City Chiefs for a fourth-round draft pick.
    • Bruce Arians: In 2019, the Arizona Cardinals traded Bruce Arians to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a sixth-round pick in 2019.
    • Sean Payton: In 2023, the New Orleans Saints traded Sean Payton to the Denver Broncos for a first-round pick in 2023 and a second-round pick in 2024.

The correct statement is he's the first with 1,700+ yards AND 17 TD catches.

Complete non-starter because the Vikings aren't about to let him go.

They will also keep Sam Darnold.

Penix and London is a crazy duo in the making.

But Falcons defense is so cringe.

    Does Kirk retire now?
