If Reed played Kyle Anderson one-on-one, do you really believe Reed could keep Kyle infront of him ? The difference of course being that Castle has a broken shot rather than just a cold shooting streak. Castle learning how to shoot a basketball from scratch is a lot less likely than a guy with perfect shooting mechanics and a history of amazing shooting simply getting over a cold streak.... but somehow you believe the opposite
No one is "playable" if you refuse to play them. There's a solid chance if the Rockets picked your guy Ime would have him riding the bench behind Sengun, Adams, and Landale. Would make about as much sense as Sheppard riding the bench for Holiday.

Castle will still have a career as a defender, rebounder and playmaker even if he can't shoot, like Dyson Daniels. Sheppard will be out of the league if he can't shoot.
