Last night was the best defensive display I've ever seen from Jalen.

I've never had the faith this year about the play-offs. I distinguish between the playoffs seed 1-6 and the play-ins. We are an improved team mostly because of Sengun's and Jalen's defensive improvements, Dillon having a career year, and Amen becoming a dominant force. Our record is somewhat a function of that improvement, but more about a weak schedule and some great luck with other team's best players being injured when we play them.

46 wins made the 10th seed last year not the play-offs and without a trade I think we win around 48 which also didn't make the play-offs last year. If we can play 500 ball from now through February, I will be more confident about a 6 seed. i have stated from the start of this year the emphasis should be on development not play-offs, because we are not a contending team. I am pleased with the defensive development, but think the offense is putrid and FVV and Ime's rotations are to blame. I'm still an optimist about this team's future, but not nearly as optimistic about making the playoffs and am starting to question whether Ime can lead a balanced team.

I was addressing your comment about we're going to be fighting for the playins. I think you spent the whole post addressing the playoffs instead, sorry.

We're not going to struggle to make the playins at all is what I'm saying.

Our record so far is exactly what you expected?

Jalen played really hard last night

He should do it more often.

I actually through her had a better first half than second half , he just got hot out the gate in the 3q .

The rockets as a whole were overwhelmed last night . Bos just has a different pace available to them that we can only match for a few minutes .

Yes we were missing alot off our bench , and bari etc ..

If Jalen had figured it out he would have actually shot more last night . Only way we win that one is if he scores 40 or 50 .

Or cam could have kept us in it with a great night , unfortunately he was off

What’s so funny? Jalen has a great health record. All he said was jalen will show up to the game, which he almost always does!

The reason I say he needs to be the lead guard is he has the same ball skills as a Murray, Ja Morant type. Are they classic point guards? No. But they have the ability to.playmake and to facilitate offense. Also, they can keep constant pressure on the defense more with the ball in their hand, similar to Harden.

I agree! But Sengun has had more than 10 good games, maybe 11 or 12.

Ah yes, the best player on the team for the past 3 seasons only had "maybe" 12 good games.

    Jalen fanbois being Jalen fanbois.

Awe, I'm not so sure. He didn't play well at the beginning of the season, then he came on for about 6-7 games, got a Player of the Week Award, then fell off again and maybe had another 4 or 5 good games but that's about it, correct?

I wouldn't imagine a Jalen fanboi would think so, after all, their holy text teaches for all have sinned and come short of the glory of Jalen.

Then again, Jalen cultists aren't exactly the kind of people anyone should turn to when looking for opinions about who played well.

Of course normal people realize that bad Sengun games are the rare exception just like good Jalen games are the rare exception.

All I asked was a SIMPLE QUESTION. Did you take offense to it? I stated that Alpi has had about 10 - 12 good games this yr. He's basically been up and down, as has Jalen.

The one constant in the lineup has been Dillon.

However, as far as improvement, I feel Jalen has improved his defense and his playmaking. And most recently, he is showing to develop a Mid - range game.

Alpi, has improved defensively. He's putting in more effort, which I think is the cause of a drop in his Off FG%. But he said, he he worked on his 3pt shooting and stamina, none of which I have seen, have you?
