After Porzingis subbed out early, I think he lost concentration a little, then everything started falling. He needed his father in this game :D

Reed needs to go to the g league, he needs some reps. I can imagine his stamina has also degraded.

You see guys outside the top 10 like Jalen Wells and Tristian just contributing to their team success with stars being out...

They were missing 2 starters, one of whom is an All-NBA level player. Someone mentioned earlier they’d beat us 99/100 times and they’re right. We’re outmatched at every position.

ehh. He’s sucked so far. But he did have a single moment, that game when he was like 4/5 on threes or whatever.

That’s not correct. He’s an expiring contract. That’s valuable. Of course there would be takers.

It was well known this was a weak draft well in advance. Either Jalen Green or Jabari would have went first overall easily in this draft.

they need to send Reed to the G league and have him actually play there consistently. I don’t care if “no other top picks were sent there”. Who gives a ****. Do what’s best for the team and long term it seems clear he’d be better off playing as much as he needs in the G league this year.

You can always bring him back if you feel the moment is right.

Don't have a problem with that, but yeah there still should be a consolidation trade happening.

Without Fred, we would not have won the OKC game.

How much did the Celts win by? Have not checked the score yet.

The Celtics on the road, in the 2nd nite of a back-to-back, without Brown and Horford, I figured maybe Houston could at least keep it under a 20 point win.

    Yikes, my bad.

Well, at least the Rockets are in the dumpster fire that the West is. Should be able to sneak in the playoffs. All hope is not lost.

Thanks for that update.....just know it can't EXPIRE quickly enough in my estimation. Nothing personal against FVV but he has outlived his purpose for being with us.

    1. the Rox were without 3 key players as well
    2. the west is a better conference overall than the east. Milwaukee would be a play-in team if they were in the west
    3. you are a troll

Brown is the reigning Finals MVP after a couple years of choke actually, not a small feat.

We need Tari, Amen and Jabari more than Celtics need Jaylen Brown and esp Al Horford who like their Uncle Green.

Celtics are a battletested group their youngest rotation players are 26 yr old Tatum and 27 yr old Payton Pritchard. Our oldest core piece is 23 yr old Tari. We're basically behind by 4 yrs in terms of experience/development, and even then I think we could have been more competitive if both teams were healthy cuz then Jabari could have provided spacing and the Terror Twins and DB could have done work defensively.

As is we still got that bad offense but also lost our defense no wonder we got owned.

Our offense got EXPOSED, my gosh….how have we not learned when Sengun gets doubled and especially trippled that you need to ****ING CUT???!!!! At least move, our guys just watch as he gets mauled and then tons of people blame him for taking a bad shot. Sure, sometimes he needs to recognize it and just pass it earlier or after an initial hand on the ball, maybe not try the same thing again, but this part of our strategy and or lack of awareness is so stupid.

We do not have the luxury to just stand around like with Olajuwon. Now that I think of it, this is very similar to how we played with Olajuwon where rarely guys would cut. Even then we needed to do it more, but we had snipers around him. Now we don’t so they can just stay home and spaced out inside the 3pt line while cutting off the easy pass. If it wasn’t for Sengun’s passing ability, we would have even more turnovers and empty possessions than we have now.

Speaking of passing, when our assists are low, we usually are playing too selfishly and that was the case tonight. Green was hot, but he just wanted or is forced to do it street ball style since we have very little to no sets for him when he’s in the flow. Waiving off a screen with 5 seconds left only to get his shot blocked was just stupid. Compound this with another guy who thought he was hot in Cam and that’s the story of our offense. Defensively, we just allow guys to get by us, were too late to recognize their advantages and our 3pt defense was just atrocious.

Glad we lost this, we made them seem like they were the best defensive team in the league. On a back-to-back no less. We will never win with this stupid offense, so just keep playing like this Ime and watch us fall in the standings quickly. Oh and if Cam still doesn’t know what he needs to do to get more consistent minutes, watch the tape of this game and tell me again how you do not know. Spoiler: when you’re down 2, momentum is shifting, don’t run into 3 towers and force up a bad shot.

One final thought: Ime, maybe not run a midget line-up agains their much bigger line-up and trust your bigs a bit more ey? On their back-to-back, how did we not use more guys to just run them out of the gym?!
