The last time someone said they knew exactly what the Rockets needed to do, they forced the team to trade CP3 for Westbrook and completely destroyed the team

It is funny that folks think they have any little say in what management and Stone do....

Westbrook was the perfect example of Harden and Tilman doing what they wanted without thinking of the fans.

If Tilman asked the fans if they should pick giving in to Harden's demands by trading CP3 for Westbrook or having to trade Harden, what do you think most fans would have picked?

When you are dealing with a head case like Harden, sometimes there's not a good option.

Sengun is 20 pts 11 rebounds and five assists with good defense at 22 years old, look that up historically for a center. Cam is 20 years old and could possibly average 20 pts right now. We haven't even discussed Amen's potential who is only in year two.

These guys are kids, at 25+ everyone will be improved, we have a deep amount of talent. Some of those guys became true 1A stars as they aged like Giannis and Jokic at 23+ etc.

We went from terrible to the largest improvement in the NBA last year at +19 games and 41-41, we're on pace to win 55 games this season, again one of the biggest jumps in the league.

Folks can't take that lightly, that is fantastic and rare for a rebuild this quickly.

We should absolutely not move desperately imo but let the team grow, it's working long-term.

I don’t think we should make a move now, but next season we should look into making a trade for a star PG or SG, our backcourt is super weak when compared to other contenders. FVV and Jalen have to go at some point. The rest of our team is pretty good, we are super deep and have a lot of talent. I actually think we can make trades without breaking up the core. We have the salaries to match and a good stash of picks. Trade for a star guard next season and upgrade the other position via free agency or a minor trade.

I can give 2 rats arses about regular season contending. There are more construction sites than just one star player.

You need better shooters aroud your star.

I just don’t think Sengun and a bunch of shooters can win it all. We need help at the backcourt, specially in the playoffs when defenses will inevitably double Sengun and force our guards to make plays. They already do that in the regular season…

I agree that it should expose Stone as a potentially gutsy GM or the Yes Man of Tilman that he mostly was.

It is also okay if they don't, then being a 2nd round exit is also not that bad ......we grew accustomed to it.
