    I don't have a fully developed fibula in one leg...and I still play tennis.

    He'll be fine.

    non-hereditary birth defect
    congenital pseudarthrosis (crus curvatum congenitum)
    doctors told my parents I would never be able to walk when I was a week old
    had many surgeries growing up
    spent half of my childhood on crutches
    am grateful to still be able to walk and practice sports

    Sorry that you dealt with this as a child, compadre. Childhood should be sacrosanct with halcyon memories. Glad you came out the other side.

    lol if you really want to knock yourself out, you can image google "fixateur externe" tibia

    after I finished growing, I had one of these in my leg for a year to extend it and get it to the same length as the other - extended it by almost 2 1/2 inches
