Best offer. Take it or leave it. And I'm not even sure I'd do that lmao.

No, only next year lmao. But yeah, I am joking - it would totally create drama, and makes zero sense.

For a rental of Jimmy to compete now, I don't hate this. Heat gets good cap relief.

I'm afraid of Jimmy Butler. He seems like a smart guy and I feel like he's going to scam our front office to get himself a max contract if he comes to Houston.

He is going about it wrong he should wear a fat suit and throw balls at Herro in team practice.

Jimmy would absolutely fit into the culture Ime is trying to build and would give us a player who can take and make shots when the rest of the offense can’t buy a bucket.

It would have to be for a salary dump package, but I’d like him here on a rental.

Still salty he didn’t want to come when he should’ve during Harden’s prime.

If Butler were traded to the Rockets for chump change and a draft pick, their defense would go next level and the offense would also improve.

However, it would be awkward if Jalen remained on the roster.

Oooooh, so now we are his hometown? What happened when we had Harden and actually needed you? Take your declining old and oft-injured diva self to another team Butler, don't try to ruin what we've got going.

call me petty but we could have won something if butler claimed houston as his hometown and joined harden back then.

No point in grabbin him now

The value would be coming off the bench, and pushing us towards a title run. We would be squeezing the last ounce of juice out of 'em. And likely not getting a result. Bringing him in to start is the same result, likely playoff exit, but would also cause some players to take a step backwards for two years and that means the team is delayed and off schedule by the same two years.

This is a bad trade. Jimmy for 6 franchise players.

If Stone trades for Butler he should be fired on the spot he is old, he misses 30 games a year, and he turns into a locker room cancer at some point for every team he has ever played for.

I would not go that far because Jimmy and Fox are the only ones that seem to be semi available.......Booker a longer shot.

But yeah, 1-2 years of patience until the draft classes of Flagg, Harper and Dybantsa hit.......
