I want to have faith in civil ideals, but honestly I hope everyone of those protestors are being tagged and tapped by law enforcement.

Not if you are not a US citizen. I am not a US citizen, and I think it is right that this is a right reserved for US citizens.

To be more precise, it's still protected speech, but non-citizens on visa aren't shielded from immigration law consequences if part of their speech can be interpreted as a call to violence, etc..

I haven't been in the US long enough. We'll see what happens in the future. I do like it here though. And I have been creating jobs, been paying a lot of taxes, and haven't run afoul of the law with even a traffic ticket so far (luckily lol).

I have only been in the US just under 3 years now.

Have been an Americophile for over 30 years though (since before I was a student in Houston). And I have been following US politics the entire time since then (even more so since I moved here, of course).
