I am glad Cam is showing his anger, but he should take accountability that he was playing like a scrub in the beginning of the season.
He needs a trade if he wants more minutes. Calling out the coach is a good way to get one. No one wants to play for dipshit coaches that have irrational love for **** players.
I blame Vanessa she is like Houston's Malika Andrews where everyone just spills out whatever is in their mind.
Are you a Narcissistic Twat. Guess so. Cam Whitmore plays like scrub in the beginning of the year and never passes to a open teammate.
Nice to see Cam speak up and not fall in line like the rest of the team. But Ime is gonna make him a much better player, not Doug Christie.
Nah I don’t agree. If he keeps playing like this there’s no way he doesn’t get minutes. He wasn’t playing like this at the beginning of the year. Rockets won’t trade him just to trade him. They can always send him back to the G league and wait for the right time to toss him in a trade if Phoenix decides to blow it up at the end of the year. This interview was an idiotic move on his part no matter how you look at it, especially since there were already questions about his attitude and him sulking and he’s now essentially proved it to the world.
I think the team thought he was going to give happy postgame interviews, so they made him available...not quite what happened lol. I guess he will get a talking to, and that's that. The weird passive aggressive vibes are not helpful, but I think they will let him play, as long as he performs.
He’s frustrated because he sees two players that he’s clearly better than get more minutes than him all season. Three players, if you count VanVleet.
Assuming that Amen can play PG (which is, admittedly, a big assumption), there should absolutely be minutes for Cam considering how bad Reed has been: PG: VanVleet / Thompson Wings: Green / Brooks / Whitmore PF: Smith / Eason C: Sengun / Adams
Jackson Gatlin is 100% to be blamed for creating trade scenarios in Locked on Rockets. Players lose Trust, angry at Teammates, angry at Ime Udoka and Rafael Stone not playing Cam Whitmore more.
This isn't even a hard question to answer. For example: "Just continue to be ready and produce when my number is called. Prove that the kind of game I had tonight is something I can bring consistently." Easy. Still conveys that he felt he played well and deserves a bigger role, but also recognizes that a 20 year old shouldn't expect to displace other players from the rotation on a good team just because he's had a couple of nice games.
