Mavs shot 40% from 3 and outrebounded us and we still won by double digits

 

We don’t play great against set defenses - you push it and if the easy bucket not there you pull it out and find Alpi

It bogs down every time we walk it up and then try and get it to Alpi then he has no time to kick it back out or when he does it’s a Grenade

 

Ime suspended him for his mustache.

 

That first quarter looked bad, but Alpi, Cam and Jalen all playing well in the second quarter essentially set the tone for the rest of the game and the Mavs never led after that. Glad Jabari played well in the third after that nasty looking eye scrape, hopefully he won’t need to miss any time because of it.

I really feel like we don’t get the benefit of many calls, even when our guys drive aggressively. I think Jalen/Alpi/DB all got fouled on at least one drive where it wasn’t called. Ah well, a win is a win, and we won that convincingly! Good teams take advantage of bad squads or injuries to stars, and the Rockets did that today

Great win. Sengun started off slow and finished great. Jalen started great and finished slow. Both had solid games. Sengun with 6 steals is wild. Cam was incredible off of the bench. Dillon was great on both sides of the ball (with the exception of those two or three plays where he tried to force something to happen on offense).

Love it. We needed it. Let's get back on a winning streak.

 

We looked dead in the water and then Cam came in and sparked that 26-4 run and then we never looked back.
