The higher ranked teams aren’t losing because of byes. They’re losing because the CFP needs to seed by the 12 best teams, not conference champs.
So, serious question. Down 20 in the 4th quarter, with 4 mins to play in a playoff game, can someone please explain the rationale on why you punt on 4th and 21? Please, anyone, can you give me any sort of justifiable reason to punt in that situation? Don't want to lose by 27? Some of these coaches are flat out idiots. Morons. Completely mentally inept.
I don't share that sentiment, but this isn't a battle worth fighting. I just despise Ohio St. Same with Notre Dame. Same with Penn St. If your squad doesn't take care of business against these meth heads from Ohio, then I'm holding a major, major grudge and I will direct the bulk of my voodoo magic on them.
