I'm on the fence. He's good, I'm just not entirely convinced he's someone you put all your chips in. Right now, I see the Kings as a re-tool team. Not a rebuild. Their fan base has been starving for playoff appearance. They had a taste but now they slid back. The mandate from their owner was to be decent right now. So their core is Keegan and Sabonis. A retool also means asking for a young player with at least two years of experience. Outside of a salary matching portion of FVV + expiring, Cam/Reed might be too young, if they're looking for immediate contribution, McNair would be asking one or two of the three of the guys in Amen/Tari/Bari. If Fox gets here, he'll also ask for a big salary. It's not just whether or not Fox will improve the squad here, it's that how far are the Rockets willing to pay when teams like the Spurs get into a bidding war. Fox is not going to be cheap. If the price costs a FVV, + one of the terror twins, and a Cam or Reed, would you still do it?

Tari yes Amen no. Tari is always injured, and he seems to have low bball IQ and always getting fouled out. if we're giving them Tari Brickpard is enough as additional prospect and we have Cam replacing Tari as the 6th man from the bench. There is also the PHX pick that is gonna be a lotto pick. I think Tari, Sheppard, 12th pick and FVV is better than any other offer they can get for Fox. Only other team that can outbid us is OKC and they dont need him.
I dont agree here. I dont think there is any way we trade fred this season unless for some superstar randomly gets let available. Fred is this teams leader and Udoka's most trusted guy. We are in the think of a very good playoff season. Fred wouldn't be leaving, Fox would have to be added. We wont move on from fred until this offseason at thea earliest imo. If you could get Fox for Cam, Reed, BKN 1st, PHX 1st and spare parts/salary filler (jock, jeff and 2nds) and straight up add Fox to this rotation replacing the back-end guys, it would be amazing and worth it 100%. Fred (32mpg) Fox (32mpg) Brooks (28mpg) Bari (25mpg) Sengun (30mpg) Green (28mpg) Amen (28mpg) Tari (25mpg) Adams (12mpg) Otherwise i dont see it happening. Dont think we would include tari/amen, nor would we really offer more draft capital. Fred likely not on the table and it makes a deal difficult.
If McNair / Wilcox calls and asks for a package centered around FVV, Tari and Bari, would that price be too high? I don't know what the answer is but, our GM (Stone/Eli/Patrick) has to what their limit is.

Tari yes, Amen and Bari no. Amen, Jabari and Sengun should be untouchable. We cant give up our core pieces otherwise thats just a lateral move. We have our own picks/swaps and PHX picks and swaps and the 2025 pick is even a lotto pick. Theres no need to give up Amen, Bari or Sengun. They dont need Jabari they have Keegan Murray. They dont need Sengun they have Sabonis. Amen is our best player he should be untouchable. Anybody else can be discussed imo.
I think a reasonable offer would be along the lines of cam/tari/reed/filler and 3 firsts. I wouldn’t consider anything like that but if a trade is made, something like this will be the cost.
You forgot FVV for salary matching. I think thats too high a price but assuming we did that we'd still have enough picks to trade for Booker if it didnt work out with Fox so I'd do it.
Fred won’t be in the deal he makes too much, unless it’s a 3 way. A booker trade would likely be something around amen and every available pick, though because a lot of picks would go out in the fox trade there would be no booker trade.

Booker and Fox dont work together the defense would be horrible and with two maxes we cant pay Sengun, Jabari, Amen, Dillon etc
