    Present+Maturation+Moves

With our Rockets being ahead of schedule comes the pleasant problem of balancing organic maturation/growth...staying the course...and the need to SLIGHTLY accelerate our timeline. On one hand, our record isn't the most important thing THIS year. But, most of us can now see where upgrades need to be made. (our backcourt - FVV/Jalen) A fully functioning unit would be optimal.
Amen, Jabari, and Alperen look to be Rockets for the next decade.
So, what of this year's deadline, the offseason, and next year's DL...
It appears a matter of time before PHX implodes, and I still want Booker. (Jalen+ PHX picks)
I really think we need two good sized guards than can handle the rock, get to the rack, bust it from downtown, and D up.
A conventional PG isn't needed IMO as the offense will run through Sengun and Amen.

Obviously, patience as it applies to the right targets shaking loose is needed.

    Thoughts at this point?

So you want Booker who couldn’t get it done with

    CP3
    KD
    Bridges
    Ayton
    Cam Johnson
    Beal
    Nurkic

70 diff players 5 head coaches in his first 6 years - he’s in year 9

JG stats are similar to Bookers at same age outside JG is playing team ball and Booker had a total green light on a team that only won 19 games

Subtract FVV, Reed(unfortunately) and picks. Add Huerter and Fox.

Rockets' hands are being tied down by this limiting center-centric offense -- same old same old -- haven't the better coaches figured the Rockets offense already..

and would these supposedly better superstar shooters be willing to come to Houston to just stand in a corner waiting for the ball to be passed to him and expected to immediately make a 3pt shot in a high clip along with a high percentage or else all hell breaks lose to him..

yes, this Rockets offense is getting their hands tied down -- from further improving team chemistry, expanding offensive diversity to mix n match to opposing teams and --
most of all, the Rockets fans' clamor of landing a 'Superstar'

We need a creative PG that can get anywhere on the court and play make and we need a knock down 3pt shooter.

Huerter is shooting 30% from 3 he's not better than anyone else on the roster.

Just Fox is a huge upgrade.

Step one is waiting to see what backcourt players are on the trade block by Feb 6 and if the price is reasonable. Devin Booker, De'Aaron Fox and Zach Levine get the most mention on the forum. I doubt very much Booker will be available because the Suns didn't guarantee $50 million to Mike Budenholzer to start tanking. Fox and LaVine most definitely will be available.

If nothing happens prior to the trade deadline, you better believe both FVV and Jalen will be gone in the offseason.

The only answer is Ned to make something big happen.

    Paul
    Booker
    Ayton
    Bridges
    Johnson
    Crowder
    Payne

we both know who the key to unlock that team was … same person who was the key to damn near get Rockets to Finals

    CP3

same reason FVV is a huge issue here currently

Royal Ivey sounds like a plant name. I'll use it in a sentence:

The dog took a dump in Grandma's Royal Ivey patch and now she's ready to kick it's ass!
