[NY Post] Trump wants to buy Greenland, again, after claiming US could take back ownership of Panama

Trump’s power is in the fact that Americans imprint on him what they think he means or what his “plan” is when he really is just shooting from the hip (aka tweeting from the toilet).

We as Americans need to stop acting as though this guy has some sort of master strategy or that he is doing something need and provocative.

I could do something different than most husbands and wake up my wife to tell her today I’m going to earn 10 million dollars for our family in the McDonald’s monopoly game. That would be different and wouldn’t be processed but without a plan on how I’m going to actually beat the McDonald’s monopoly game my wife should probably just tell me to shut up and go fix the flapper on the toilet.

Show me the proposal and the plan before I can comment. Why do yall keep using the word purchase? It’s not for sale like lumber at Home Depot or whatnot. The implication you maga cult followers are making is that land out there part of another sovereign country is just there for the taking if you feel you have the power to take it.

If the implication was that china or Russia were going to forcefully take another countries sovereign territory yes we would condemn it and want to help thwart that. Maybe not defend militarily but in this case we would have to since it is NATO territory.

If Denmark wants to sell it great… let’s do it. Until then all yall are doing is implying that Trump should annex and use our military to take territory owned by a NATO Ally.

And just curious, why are you so against the US opening lines of communication on this? Why would you be against us purchasing Greenland? China wants it too. I feel like if it was Obama or Biden talking about this you would be on board.

No one is buying Greenland.

That includes Russia - China and the USA.

Russia has like 12% inflation right now, they have lost Syria and all the time and resources they spent on it - and they are not doing well in Ukraine.

If it was so simple to "purchase" a country in 2024 - China would just purchase Taiwan.
