As a Broncos fan, I was saying the same thing. If it fails, it fails but hey let’s go to overtime and prolong the agony even longer.

#Bengals: Beat Steelers, Broncos lose to Chiefs, Colts go 1-1 or 0-2, Dolphins go 1-1 or 0-2

#Dolphins: Beat Browns and Jets, Broncos lose to Chiefs, Colts go 1-1

#Colts: Beat Giants and Jaguars, Broncos lose to Chiefs, Dolphins OR Bengals go 2-0 to create three-way tie that Colts would win

If the #Broncos beat the #Chiefs, it's all moot and Denver is in.

Im pretty sure someone informed Payton that a tie would also clinch playoffs and they changed their mind, which makes sense. What didn’t make sense is calling timeouts late in OT when all they needed was a tie!! Unbelievable

    Two things:

1 NFL OTs almost never end in a tie.

2 Joe Burrow is on the opposing sideline.

I thought it was a clear mistake at the time (not as big a mistake as Zac Taylor made at the end of regulation).

Crazy really. I can't remember a QB who had the league highest passing yards and touchdowns, yet his team wasn't in the playoffs. None ring a bell to me.

Sure but all that notwithstanding Sean Payton was a bozo for calling timeouts late in OT.

The Sunday NFL schedule is really whacked this weekend. Because of Wed/Thu/Sat games, there are only 8 afternoon games tomorrow, with just one being worth a dime.

The Dolphins and Colts have such an easy last 2 games…if both of them don’t finish 9-8 after playing Cleveland, NYJ, NYG, and Jacksonville, they should be embarrassed.

Sucks to be you, having to watch the worst division in football all season.

You ALL are going to watch the Pack vs. Vikings. Get your popcorn ready! Never do microwave popcorn. Always heat coconut oil over medium heat, then add white kernels. Once popped, top with unsalted butter. I also suggest some Kernel Season's Nacho Cheddar popcorn topping.

Sit back and enjoy watching the best division in the history of football today.

We don't watch our division all year. They broadcast the Texans over the rest of our division.

Should be a good game today. I don't really care who wins, but I'll probably root for Green Bay the underdog though. That being said, I hope if the Texans don't pull off a miracle and win that an AFC team wins the title, and I'd love to see the Ravens or Bills upset the Chiefs. As for NFC I'm pulling for the underdog Commanders if they can make the playoffs. They probably don't have a chance to win but I like the underdog to upset a couple favorites and break some hearts.

    Fun fact:

I was stationed in San Diego back in '98 when all the Green Bay fans arrived at the airport with their giant cheese heads for the SuperBowl. It was fun watching Elway, Davis, Rod Smith and crew beat the Packers. I still have the hat.

The Packers started the week as favorites even as the road team. The line went to 1 point because the Packers are missing 4 key starters.

How many Super Bowls have the Oilers and Texans been to?

Glad you saw the Packers in their only loss in their 5 trips to the Super Bowl. Yeah, it's been since 2011 that the Pack won their last Lombardi. For sure the Pack is overdue. Stay tuned...The Playoffs in the NFC will be epic.

I guess it would surprise you the Packers are actually favored by 1 to win at Minnesota.

I will also give them the kiss of death: They are my NFC pick to reach the Super Bowl.

It’s amazing people still aren’t talking much about The Vikings at this late point in this season. We’re talking about a team that gets the #1 seed in The NFC if they win out that plays elite defense and is loaded with skill players. I know it’s hard to believe in Darnold, but he’s actually been quite good: 7th in yds (3776), 5th in TDs (32) w/ 11 picks. Beating GB in Minneapolis, and at Detroit?….yeah, that’s no easy task, but this is a 13-2 squad that’s probably feeling a little under appreciated which is always dangerous

They’d be saying Saquon is washed with this OC/OL.

Now he’s on the verge of breaking the rushing record.

He made the right call. (Derrick Henry too)

It appears that the Cowboys don't enjoy getting a Beatdown.

It was easy to root against them that year they lost. Elway, Terrell Davis, Ed McCaffrey, and Rod Smith were my favorites, and the team I rooted for back then when Houston didn't have a team.

I honestly don't pay much attention to teams outside the AFC, and I can't even name 3 players on the Vikings and Packers. So, whoever wins in that league doesn't matter much to me. I'll probably just root for the underdogs in the playoffs in that league. None of the quarterbacks are my favorites, so I'll root for the rookie, Daniels to take his team the farthest. I doubt they go far, but I'll root for them. You coming in this Houston sports thread going on and on about the Packers just makes me want to root against them, even though I have nothing against them, but I don't care who wins today.

2000 yards for Saquan. He just sealed the MVP. Sorry Josh but you can’t beat 2000yrds rushing. And he did it in 16gamee. Might break the all time record nxt week but it’ll be in 17 games.
