And while he's laying there in a primadonna fugue state, Nico will catch two more miracle 3rd down conversions.
Is that before or after Justin Jefferson dance in the endzone? Joking aside, I love Nico... the offense and schemes have failed him this year.
Schultz has been one of the biggest disappointments this year, the dude CANNOT block to save his life, mix in the drops and I am ready to jettison his a$$
Is there a good list of possible replacements? https://torotimes.com/3-potential-offensive-coordinators-houston-texans-can-sign-in-2025 This has a Klay Kubiak. I saw a Klint Kubiak on another. How many damn nepobattlers did Gary pop out into the football world?
Poor coaching is killing this team, and don't think the players don't know who and why. This kind of situation can and has demoralized the team. When you KNOW that you are not going to be put in the best position to win players start thinking of self protection and ending the season ASAP. You can see it on their faces during interviews.
I do wonder if that was run the way it was drawn up or if someone ran the wrong route. There are a few questions about that play I'd like to know Edit: that is a different play I was thinking of
“We have retained Bobby as OC. It ain’t just Bobby or just one guy. It takes all of us. It takes all of us functioning as one unit. We gotta execute better. Are we getting the play in? Is the QB making the right read(s)? Is the OL communicating? Are the receivers running the right routes? So like I said, it takes all of us. We all have to play better. I have to coach better. But we’re excited. We’re excited to have Bobby back.”
Unfortunately, you are likely right. If that is the way they roll, then the team is back in BOB territory. Doubling down on "fail" is a terrible strategy. Ownership, especially Cal's wife might have other plans.
Please fire Slowik. We have scrubs and backup QBs that have never played throwing dots for TD passes. When was the last time Stroud did that.
Bobby isn't getting fired. They'll fire Strausser (rightfully), bring in two new guards, a shifty back and make sure CJ looks spectacular in his contract year
