Well, you had a statistic of Mobley shooting 31% from 3.....and he is shooting 41.5% this season....

    So your stats are outdated.

I have not blamed Jalen Green.. read what I wrote, I said he was not a star player therefore he should not even be in the conversation of giving the blame to....because he is not worthy yet.

Being mediocre against top teams - not much of a blame, just talking what I observed.

Pedestrian handles for a guard - not much of a blame, just lack of skills.

You will know when I decide to blame him and that is close to the Playoffs.....I am turning it on....so you wait.

Do you remember which thread that was? I posted a link and I'd like to check the date on those stats.

Must be an older post in this thread because you were demanding for better shooters around Jalen all the time and you listed up names of decent players with 31% shooting.....I guess to make Jalen look better.

Meanwhile Mobley is probably only the 3rd option......

But yes Mobley's stats are inflated because Atkinson is an offensive genius.....

So were his stats under JBB because JBB was an awful Offensive coach.....

    There you go again.

Forget about good players shooting poorly not named Jalen Green.....you just want
to focus on him. All those birds were flocking is the same flock at the time.

You can't deny that. Regardless of the date. I wasn't my site.

Lol dude, Sengün also carried the Rockets many times in the last 2-3 years.

He takes the most abuse of all players down low from opponents every night.

Jalen is just a goon or gunner, who shoots and dribbles.....
Yeah, he sort of carried the team with Amen last March, that 3 weeks span I give you.

And a few games starting this season. He was never consistent.

So that asks the question, was it Amen or the weak schedule that unlocked Jalen last March. Why not try it against this upcoming stretch of tough games and see?

You can but I think Udoka will always be about slower pace and Defense over occasional run and gun.....

That is his identity.....you probably have to fire him and hire Atkinson to fully play that style.

However I mean Udoka is barely 50 years old, he can still learn new offensive tricks....why not.

    Found it.

You can look at the link. I haven't changed the parameters. I asked for season.
That's what it gave me. Mobley shoots so few 3's....one good game might have
changed his stats. I put stats were before games that day.

    https://www.nba.com/stats/players/shooting?dir=A&sort=25-29 ft. FG PCT

Sengun FG% is less than Centers (55.1) in the NBA by 7.1%
Green FG% is less than NBA SG's (44..4) by 3.1%

Let me know when Jalen Greens FG% is 37.3%....the equivalent of Jalen to SG's compared to Sengun to Centers

    *Jalen Green 41.3 (FG%) before today's game per basketball-reference.com
    *Sengun 48.0 (FG%) before today's game per basketball-reference.com

Green ****ing sucks at any type of consistent effort and play from game to game. Year 4, and that hasn't changed.

And installing his identity has gotten us out of the dumpster last year and into the HC playoff picture this year

I have no idea why some people are so concerned about maximizing green that they would sacrifice what has gotten us W's ... The actual statistic that matters.

Looking at the numbers so far this season he's been our weak link (yet again )

If you wanna look at VORP , EPM , BPM , on-off , and also the effeciency metrics that people here are focused on ... Jalen ranks near the bottom of our squad in alot of these metrics .

Udoka IS playing him ... So that counts for something . But he also benches him sometimes , which means he obviously has options he likes better in certain situations .

I didn't watch the game so I can't speak to playing Tate over him , but Tate is my boy and so I will never doubt that .

I still can count on one hand the number of times I've seen Jalen dive on the floor for a loose ball. I don't think I ever saw it before this season and now he's at 1 .

The dude is a fair weather player , frontrunner , whatever you wanna call him .

Sometimes he gets hot , and since we have 4 good defenders around him that makes us look really good .

Jalen still needs to grow alot .

Whether he changes his philosophy, he has to maximize and make Amen also the Offensive star of this team.

That is a priority... the Playoffs are fine and all, I like it, but turning Amen into an All Star and possibly a star is what would turn Udoka into a star developer.

Quite finally you are not watching actual games. Green's effort is not questioned anymore. His defense was near emaculate last night.

Amen really hasn't shown the ability to take over games offensively. He mostly relies on defenses back peddling in transition at the moment and isn't someone you can just dump the ball in a half court set.

Yes I've been out of country . Coming back and watching again soon .

Are the stats lying ? If his defense was immaculate last night then his season long metrics suggest that was an abberation

What metric are you referring to exactly?

Green has been a good defensive player the entire season.

Did he hear me when I predicted a couple of weeks ago that he would look good against the bad teams for a week and when we play the wolves he'll look bad. I guess Im just a hater for that prediction or maybe I dont hate him just telling the truth about how he plays? He looks good against bad teams his stans start acting like he is Jordan then we play a good team he ***** the bed and you guys are nowhere to be found. typical over emotional stans. Sooner or later this trend will have to change if he is gonna ever be a star.

You seem like a narrative hunter type of guy rather than someone who actually watches the sport and analyzes it.

Am I correct in that assumption?

I think Green can be a useful player. Just in the right role.

However is is a very frustrating player to watch for me. I have never been a fan of the less than efficient sg that to little more than score. Even in their best form. I was never a fan of players like Kobe, Iverson etc and those are the best case scenarios for Green (And I expect he will never reach those heights and will be more in the J.R. Rider mold)

One thing that really bugs me is how he still moves to soon when he gets a screen. How can he still not understand that he needs to wait for the screen to be set. This game he again caused Amen to get an offensive foul. (This is a pet peeve of mine).
