Ime Udoka not playing Jalen Green and Cam Whitmore in the 4th Quarter is a criminal act by Ime Udoka.

Last night Jalen with 30 points and Cam with 27 points, against a contender let's Fred VanVleet put up terrible 3. Alperen Sengun can't shoot Free Throws or shoot 3s.

 

Why can't we have the Finer Things......asking Steve.

 

Anybody that think announcers having any input into the outcome of a game is stupid. Anyone that thinks what anybody says on a forum having an impact during a game is stupid. There is no such thing as a jinx. I've never liked these two announcers, but put blame where it belongs, Ime lost this game. If you don't want FVV to kill your momentum or chunk up stupid hero shots, don't put him in the game. I am so sick of Ime's love affair with this guy.

If Kings chose to rebuild, I'd just offer Reed, Cam, FVV, and picks .. I'd keep Bari and even Green ... Fox and Green would be dynamic ( on paper of course) but you'd have your alpha with a strong young cast around him... Maybe grab a Brogdon for backup and let's go.

Fred is 30 .....I doubt he is learning very much from it. Nothing he has not watched in the Playoffs with Toronto.

But I guess the others are.

This is the type of game that can start the collapse in momentum

Next game in my opinion is a must win to break that momentum

 

yea he was massive tonight but he really has to hit free throws especially in the clutch.

 

Why can't Fred have more rest days?

 

He was 50% on 3PT. Where FVV disappointed was at the FT line..... but so did most of the Rockets.

 

Udoka is clearly stuck on closing the 2nd and 4th quarters with starters. Rockets have collapsed plenty of times at the end of the 1st half.

There is no doubt tonight Tate and Holiday could have played a few more mins in the 2nd half. He should have factored in missing two key rotation players.

 

Imagine watching this game and coming out of it thinking Jalen wasn't tied with udoka as the reason they lost.
