Ime just stand watching Fred chucking 2 terrible shots in last minutes.

 

They were clearly exhausted. The moment the T'Wolves grabbed a rebound, it was an automatic score at the other end. But that's where coaching comes into the equation. You're shorthanded, but you don't have to rely on a predetermined closing lineup. Mix in Holiday or hell even Whitmore. Don't play guys you know have zero energy left in the tank.

 

Fred was the worst culprit? Whilst shooting better than Jalen, having more points than Jalen, having more rebounds than Jalen, having more assists than Jalen, with only one more turnover?

Good one. Like I said, you're on drugs tonight sorry.

You guys blaming this loss on individual players (in this case, FVV and Jalen) just weren't watching closely.

Lack of depth was the problem. With DB and Tari out there, Rockets win this one by 20.

 

Should have called a timeout to regroup after Ant hit that shot.

And they were exhausted. Sengun and Jabari played 40+ minutes.

Ime is so dumb he kept breaking what was working. We had that 15 pt lead he should have kept the guys in instead he subs FVV back in like a total dumbass.

 

The guys were clearly tired he shoulda just called a timeout so they could rest. Countless times during that run he shoulda just called timeouts.

 

I’m actually stunned at this lost

I checked the boxscore thinking I was gonna be looking at the stats of some 15 point Rockets win when I came back from walking the dog, and I open up the NBA app to a 1 point loss

What kind of witchcraft is this?!?

 

I’ve never been the biggest Holiday fan but he brought ENERGY when he played and that lineup with him, Alpi, Amen, Jalen and Jabari were this close to getting the Twolves to hold a players-only meeting.

And then ****ing Fred comes in to “close it out”. Man, I was singing Fred’s praises in the third and now I feel like a chump for trying to be unbiased and be accepting of his game.

Why can’t we just keep playing the lineup that was doing well? If Alpi and/or Jalen were sitting, you can bet they’d be sitting the whole time because that’s how Ime does things. But not with Fred! Special Fred! ****

 

This team is legit.

A loss like this is something that they need to learn from and not take finishing games for granted moving forward.

 

up 5, Jabari contests a Reid 3 and watches the shot instead of boxing out and Naz gets his own rebound for the bucket. It's bad enough that he's a bust for the 3rd pick, at least play with effort to combat your lack of skill.
