    In one game +/- means nothing. That is a long term stat not a one game Stat.

    It is not a one game stat and Im not sure why you replied the opposite of what I said what are you a troll? are you a five year old?
    "Yes, a player's plus-minus stat in the NBA is not meant to be used for a single game:
      • Correlation to player ability: A player's plus-minus stat in a single game has little correlation to their overall ability.
    • Teammates: A player's plus-minus stat can be influenced by their teammates. For example, a great player on a poor team might have a negative plus-minus, while an average player on a good team might appear more impactful.

    • Sample size: Single-game plus-minus data can be misleading.

    • Opponent quality: The quality of the opposing team is not considered in plus-minus stats.

    • Game situations: Game situations, such as rest days, are not considered in plus-minus stats."

    What does coming off the bench have to do with anything? You think Sheppard will play better if he started? He played 18 mins yday how did that work out?

    lol are you being slow on purpose? HE HAS GOTTEN WAY MORE MINUTES THAN SHEPPARD FROM DAY ONE. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS. Its been 2 months give the kid a break jeez.

    I agree with you that Reed has been awful. I just don't think it's fair to compare him to those players when they all walked in to either starter roles or, in the case of Sengun, significant consistent minutes in a low pressure situation on a team that was tanking. Reed walked in to playing 3 minutes per half on a team that's just a few games out of 1st place and playing for homecourt advantage in the playoffs. It's just not the same opportunity.

    I still don't understand why they didn't send me straight to the G League from day one. Holiday is a quality backup and we don't have to rush Reed. I don't understand how he's supposed to build his confidence in those wildly limited and inconsistent minutes. And it appears that his confidence has just been crushed instead.
