Stating that isn't wanting the country to fall. There is a reason we have a legislative process. As contentious as media claims our politics are, it's still based on a difference of values and beliefs, those values and beliefs are derived from analysis and self reflection on the subjects of debate and people are married to these beliefs and values.

Over time people come to agreement on certain subjects because they are proven to be better. some subjects like taxation forever remain debatable because in issues like taxation, the country's needs are not consistently the same
