Then I guess you didn’t read it. It’s the exact problem of libertarianism. Government, whether you like it or not, is a necessity. We have tried this plenty of times in the past with little to no government body. It doesn’t work. Point blank period. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a grifter.

Libertarianism, like most political ideas, exists on a sliding scale.

You seem to be confusing libertarianism with anarchism.

Also, drawing grand conclusions from a tiny experiment somewhere in rural USA is not very smart, to say the least.

I'll let you google (or ChatGPT) the rest.

Patty Boyle is a good one to subscribe to.

When he mentioned how highly regulated Argentina it made me think of Modi and sure enough he brings up the surface similarities with Modi.

Tl;dw some progress but still much work to do

Libertarian or small government has not proven to work anywhere in the world. If the system were so great, we’d see a country thriving with its principles in full, yet we do not see that. You could argue one of the war torn countries in Africa represents your vision for small government or libertarianism (whatever you wanna call it). Regardless, Argentina is in for a rough ride.

There’s so much to unpack with this post and it’s everything wrong with disinformation. First, I looked into this supposedly good news of the poverty rate falling and I cannot find a single source outside of “Mario Nawfal”. I thought, “hmmm, how strange”. If this were true, every news media site would be exploding right now. Mario, provided a source by the Argentina government which posted a PowerPoint with zero data. Literally zero data is how we get to 38 percent poverty rate. Either this is a projection by the government or it’s complete bullshit. Either way, I wouldn’t trust this claim of 38 percent with no data to back it up. It’s impossible to project anything without data so I’m leaning more towards “it’s 38 percent trust us” type of bs that you see from banana republics.

Mario Nawfal, the guy who posted about this amazing drop in the poverty rate has a shady history. There are scams linked to him and potential embezzlement that is also linked to him. In other words, not someone who I would trust with information. This took me 15 mins of research, but I’m sure that’s something you have never done. Keep **** posting and spreading disinformation by all means.

Yeah a PowerPoint presentation with no data to look at. It’s literally a “trust me bro” with numbers. Not a single outlet has reported this because it’s bs.

It's literally the Argentinian government's official institute of statistics.

I thought you are a big believer in government.

As to your erroneous assumption that "not a single outlet has reported this":

The article you linked literally says it’s not based on data but rather a projection. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. I’m a believer in efficient government. I don’t believe everything a government puts out for obvious reasons. Aren’t you anti-government?

I went to Argentina twice in 1997 and once again in 2011. I would live there.

    Right.
Calling the leader of a country who has done nothing but make it better since in office a clown is a symptom of his derangement against anyone with more power than his keyboard.
