@Salvy easily Cause she’s blatant about taking the tax payers money and going on lavish trips and getting range rovers instead of staying I’m Black she tells her city you’re Black so they better listen to her ! hands down the best
Katy Porter in the US. She's a bad ass who really seeks to serve those she represents. Worldwide, though not in power currently, José Mujica was pretty cool and did amazing things for country.
He donates about 90% of his salary. He legalized mar1juana He legalized gay marriage He reduced poverty from 37% down to 11% So clearly not everything wrong. I definitely don't agree with every decision he's made. But he seems genuine and has made accomplishments for the betterment of his people.
I can't say I know enough to argue here. What I will say is that I can somewhat respect politicians from the left if they are at least genuine and authentic and honest in their motivations and beliefs, however misguided I may think they are. I can't really think of good examples of those types though.
Same for Milei, how El Salvador is now still seems like its not real for me. I got back just a month ago and I'm already looking forward to going back next year....
I can respect that. That is probably my favorite thing about Mujica. He was called the world's poorest president because he gave away so much of his salary and didn't use his office to enrich himself. He was imprisoned, changed from being hard core dogmatic to being very pragmatic.
I'll say he's impressed way, way beyond my expectations, and with some caveats on some lesser stuff, he's done more of a good job than I could have expected anyone to do with the Argentine government/economy. The starting place was so F'd up (and has been for decades) that any success would have been impressive, but he's gone a bit above. Will it last? Nobody knows. "Most favorite politician"? That's like asking "Which vermin is your favorite?" I choose the possum: immune to rabies, love to eat ticks, will also eat fire ants. That's a good varmint.
