It would likely cost more. If Fox becomes available, the Spurs will be in hot pursuit.

Then they can have him. So there future is Fox and Wendy? That would be awesome for everybody but the spurs.

Why only two of those 3? We already have 3 players who are worse 3 point shooters than Fox this year in our starting 5. Unfortunately, Fox actually upgrades our 3 point shooting. He's also much better than anyone that we have for a goto guy.

How are you going to get Booker? What do you think the odds are of Booker leaving PHX in the next couple of years and then actually ending up in Houston? It's a longshot.

Wemby is on a rookie deal and they have assets. The Spurs are going to be a problem with or without Fox.

Of course Booker fits this team better but who knows when/if he'll be available. And you think Booker wouldn't cost us Amen or Sengun? The next level of players above the Foxes will cost more and will potentially cost us our defensive identify.

While I think Amen has the most superstar potential, he's not there and may not get there. I'm not holding back on Fox because he might interfere with Amen's development (which may or may not pan out).

Do you know what being washed means or entails??? Just because Westbrook wasn’t a good fit for our team he was still producing at a high level. Wall and Oladipo were washed on the Rockets…

The main reason is because of who they replace (aside from booker being better than fox). Booker replaces jalen, fox replaces fvv. The team overall gets a much much bigger boost going from jalen to booker than fvv to fox.

IMO, that line of reasoning is flawed because there is zero chance FVV returns as starter after this season. He is #1 on the roster to replace (while Jalen is #2).

It would be different if FVV had 2-3 years of juice left to start at PG.

If FVV or Jalen were injured for 10-15 games, it would be interesting to see how Amen would do in that period knowing he owned the job. Particularly at PG. But in discussions I've read here, most people are very skeptical of him being a starting PG.

I think Amen could start and thrive next to either Fox or Booker.

I would be pretty surprised if FVV isn't the starting PG next season. I'm not opposed to him being replaced, just not by 55+ million a year of fox, who's barely (if at all) better than fred. Fred was our best player last season, but ya his shooting has been god awful this season.

There is a lot to like about Fox but the main issues are he shoots 3s at 33% so Jalen level and he is bad on defense.

Defense is the reason we win games as we are the 2nd ranked defense and so far every team that has won a ring is a top 10 defense. If we get Fox that defense will take a large tumble because Fox is a bad defender and teams will target him every play.

Secondly he cant shoot 3s. I mean technically he can but 33% on 6 attempts thats basically Jalen Green 2.0.

Third, we are in no rush. Rox are 2nd seed as is and Jalen will have his PASB glow up, guys like Amen continue to improve and Cam gets back to his rookie year form. We wont compete for a ring even with Fox so why pull the trigger now?

Nah Booker plays hard and doesnt mind doing the dirty work and scrapping on defense.

Dog or not Fox is a bad defender and shoots at Jalen Green level..

Spurs getting Fox would be good for us, makes PHX that much worse.

We're not getting Booker or Fox so it's all really moot.

??? We can get either if we wanted to. Fox would be a Rocket now if we wanted to. Booker is inevitable if they continue to flop.

If you think Westbrook was a max level star on the rockets our views are so far apart no point in engaging, you can be as rude as you want it doesn’t matter.

I would def be disappointed if he is still here next year. We need a playmaker and shooter like Brogdon or Tyus Jones.

He was amazing last year but having a bad shot makes him useless and Ime has a crush on him and plays him 39 mpg no matter how he plays.
