What I remember is when he was traded to the Ravens, Ravens fans were chirping about how cheap he came and thought they robbed the Panthers. Panthers fans very loudly chirped back to the effect, "Fools! Just wait and see". They were so happy he was gone.

This is why I'm so negative on him.

Why be negative on him because of other fans? I'm pretty sure he's not just going to throw this opportunity away. Then said a lot about Diggs and he was great until he got hurt

He threw away opportunities with both the Panthers and Ravens this season.

Like everyone else, I'm hoping for the best. It would be great if my comments don't age well.

He did but this is obviously this is hia last chance. I remember Justin Blackmon throwing his career away. Hopefully he understands that this is a great opportunity for him.

I have a feeling he's going to understand that. Obviously that's me being optimistic

Okie State, right? If he's the guy I'm thinking of he was just about unstoppable his last 2 years in college

What did ever happen to him in the NFL?

We all saw the Panthers trading him before the deadline coming, given the direction they’re heading. But of all teams, he gets traded to the Ravens? Has anyone else heard about this?

Supposedly, Diante was in Pittsburgh so long that he really embraced the rivalry with the Ravens. Word is, he truly hates them and didn’t want to go there at all. That’s what I’ve heard, but who knows?

he was putting up solid numbers for the Panthers, and that was with Bryce Young at QB.

I remember I hated it when the Jags drafted him.

This is a "flyer", hopefully he can come in and get a dozen catches and not be a head case........at the end of the day the Texans had no real choice, there is no one out there getting any serious attention.............well done Nick, and then the Raven get Sims, Ironic isn't it

Yeah. I didn't like it either but I do feel bad for him. That's a difficult way to lose your career. Somebody should have gotten him help

Sure but he was in a better situation in Baltimore and literally pulled a Devondra Campbell.

If he’s good I’ll gladly eat crow and shut up

Whoa! I really hope he shows even a glimpse of his past brilliance with us because that would be incredible. Let’s all get into the Christmas and New Year spirit, and hope this player delivers what we need… and maybe even more.

I don't know about free, they still have to pay him $1,125,000. So not free but massively less than the $9 million Carolina paid him for seven games and the 2025 6th round pick they sent out to get rid of him
