Yep, we cannot write off any high lotto player. The Pistons were so bad that we couldn't see any prospects succeeding.
The Drummond one is unbelievably bad, it makes the all-time highlight mixtape of worst ref calls, but the Embiid one looks like a legit charge call and his follow up with the ref definitely seemed deserving of the T's and ejection.
Agreed about Embiid the charge call (but one can also argue that Wemby embellished the contact). I think Embiid's reaction might have been led up to by the Drummond ejection.
So, on Sunday, I mentioned the Raptors player on the bench rocking a cowboy hat, because, you know, that’s totally normal NBA sideline fashion. Fast forward to last night against the Knicks, and there he is again, hat and all. Turns out it’s Bruce Brown. I don’t have the full story, but I do know this, the man was a certified glue guy during the Nuggets’ championship run. Now, apparently, he’s adding fashion icon to the résumé. Edit: apparently he's recovering from a knee injury Spoiler
I have just made the decision that I do not like Victor W. It's been a while since I have disliked a nba player congrats vic!
Maybe one of the reasons the NBA viewership is dwindling is that star players keep wanting to leave their teams when the going isn't smooth sailing.
Western Conference Eastern Conference Spurs versus Knicks Minnesota versus Dallas Philadelphia versus Boston Lakers versus Golden State Denver versus Phoenix Seven out of the ten teams playing today are in the Western Conference. __________ Western Conference Standings 1. OKC 2. Houston 3. Memphis 4. Dallas 5. Denver 6. Clippers 7. Lakers 8. Golden State 9. San Antonio 10. Minnesota 11. Phoenix 12. Sacramento 13. Portland 14. Utah 15. New Orleans The NBA is finding it hard to let go of the past. I realize that schedules were set months ago, but the Lakers, Warriors and Suns weren't making major trades to improve themselves and they are doing about as expected. I wonder if the NBA will admit next season that things have evolved - changed or if they will continue to be stuck in the past.
Legalized gambling is the indirect cause of all viewership issues. See ref takeover today (or virtually any game with interesting money line characteristics) for evidence. All 4 major sports are in decline, and will be until something is done (which will be never).
He's weak. He can't post up or gain paint acreage. That's why he settles for fadeaways and 3s like Jabari.
He's a ****ing problem. He gets a little more muscle on and and he's down right unstoppable, literally unstoppable.
