7 million people who died from COVID didn't think it was nothing.

I don't buy those numbers. What members here died? How could you possibly know that?

I still don't by into Covid being a global Pandemic. I think a bunch of people panicked. I had it and obviously my family had it. None of us had a problem. I get it effected the elderly but there's nothing that you can do about that.

I can't answer that question because I don't know. What I do know is he's way better than Harris who is the worst candidate ever

There's no way to verify that number accurately

No I'm not against any of that stuff obviously. I don't trust WHO. That doesn't mean that they haven't done some positive things.

Again, you're entitled to your opinion of me. We don't know each other outside of this message board and never will. I have certain opinions of people here but they might not be correct.

I had several clients die, the youngest being in their 40s. My high school classmate lost her sister that was only 28, leaving behind her young children. My ex-wife worked in a NYC hospital in April -June. She was horrified by the number of patients dying.

I was completely asymptomatic when I had it, but that just means I was fortunate. I was also vaccinated. A crap load of people died. Many more for very sick for an extended period of time.

I'm sorry for your loss so I'll say that first. Like I mentioned, I didn't know anyone who passed. Did they have any underlying health issues if that's not to intrusive?

I just didn't see anything personally. Everyone I know who had it ended up fine. I took the shots as did my wife but I'm not sure it mattered since we both got it regardless. Our children did too. I don't believe in it being a pandemic for that reason. I think it was overblown. They say it's still going around and I don't know anyone who has it. People still wear masks which is ridiculous

Trump is just trying to deflect blame for his mismanagement of the covid crisis. We all better hope that another crisis doesn't occur in the next 4 years, especially a health one. I remember someone telling me before the covid vaccines came out they were trying to get hydroxychloroquine because Trump promoted it. Trump and Elon are peddlers of disinformation and conspiracy theories which makes those critical situations worse. Get ready to see more quacks like Stella Immanuel

    **** the WHO
    And the UN
    And most NGOs
Certain NGOs we fund are responsible for the migrant crisis, censorship, the DEI woke lawsuit type BS. And on and on.
    Fauci should be in jail.
    So should bill gates.

We have been funding the death of American freedom an exceptionalism. Sponsoring our own demise.

The WHO was trying to pass some global pandemic treaty. **** that. I’m not taking instructions from some Globo commies based in DavOs or the UN

Yes being prepared and ready to respond to a pandemic is so horrible that the US should withdraw from the organization making huge strides against Maleria, Hep C, AIDS, eradicated Small Pox, Polio, etc.

My uncle (who lives in India) got it and died in about a month. He was in his mid 60s and pretty healthy beforehand. Not vaccinated. Don’t personally know anyone else who died because of it, and I know several whose symptoms were mild who were vaccinated. I was pretty sick for about a week, but for me it was a severe (painful) sore throat and fever. I was vaccinated too.

Personal anecdotes are all well and good, but I would sooner trust globally collected data from health institutions than what I experience from my narrow vantage point.

I believe in international institutions, even when imperfect, for coordination on addressing huge global problems. I don’t see the benefit in abandoning them.

    Sorry for your loss.

When international institutions have become rotten to the core, like the "UN" and "WHO", it's time to abandon them.

I don’t know how you distinguish a flawed political system consisting of many bad actors that still serves a purpose (like the US federal government), and one that is rotten to the core and must be abandoned.

Are you against the idea of the UN/WHO and international law, in principle, or are you against the form it has taken? If the latter, if you could wave a magic wand and implement any reforms to it, what are some changes you’d like to see made?

These people only think in terms that if something didn't cause them harm - then it is harmless. They can't grasp the idea that a disease might affect different people differently.
