Bcz the tech restrictions were part of the CR deal? Musk only wanted one thing from the CR deal which was to remove restrictions on his businesses in China which was able to successfully lobby.

Trump wanted one thing from the CR which was to raise the debt ceiling. Musk got what he wanted which was to remove restrictions while Trump didn't get what he wanted which was to raise the debt ceiling.

Musk is playing Trump like a fiddle and MAGATs are to braindead to see what's happening. As much as i hate Trump I still trust him more than Musk any day.

 

Because the government got funded by appeasing Elon's Chyna business? Hopefully they add it in the next bill but I'd imagine Elon will bend over for Xi and go through with technology transfer before they have a chance.
