One day in the distant past I went to a Mavs-Pistons Bad Boys game. It was my first time seeing the Pistons of that era live, and I intentionally watched Zeke the whole game because despite his rep, I didn't think he was on par with some of the other stars at the time. Indeed, he didn't do much the first half and and I thought he deferred to teammates too much and coasted. Much of the second half was the same. However, in the last 5 minutes with the game still in doubt, he suddenly became the best player on the floor by a large margin. He certainly turned into the fastest, quickest guy on the court. Just made plays at both ends. A tie game ended up in a 12 point win (IIRC) for the Pistons. Anyway, I was reminded of this by some thoughts in this thread. Not comparing Sengun and Thomas as players, but maybe just a little in 4th quarter mentality. /csb
Stop whining about Jalen. Sengun's inefficiency issues and defense have been terrible this year. Guys are more physical & he's digressing right now
Love Sengun, but franchise players have to be able to hit layups. His finishing has been embarrassing this year.
So your iq is not high enough to comprehend that I talk about you, not Jalen. And Sengun’s defense has been terrible, lol, he would get the mip if it was given for just defensive improvement.
I had to show ignored content to see which clown was making a fool of themselves. Low and behold. The guy claims Sengun's defense has been 'terrible' this year. Oh. My. Goodness. You cannot make up that kind of delusion.
Hopefully you aren't going to run with the same joke the amount of times Jalen misses shots in a game. It wasn't funny the second time, I don't think I can take seeing the same joke regurgitated another 14 times.
if you would like to be on the master Sengunatic list, don't beat around the bush . . . just ask to be added to it and you're on!!!
I missed the game so I went with the game tape for Sengun. Starting with the worst, his turnovers have not been this bad for a long time. Not the number of them, but the way he commited them, dare I say, kpj like . Needs to focus more. Same with the missed shots but I am not worried about them. I am more bothered by losing his creativity in his post up moves and attacking the basket, resorting to bully ball mostly. As a SOF, I guess I need to blame someone else for that, and that goes to Udoka . On the bright side, overall it looks like a solid performance. Picking up later in the game and asserting himself is very nice. And best of all the defensive plays are just amazing.
Am I on the list? What perks do I get being on it? Honestly I am tired of seeing your corny sarcasm about Sengun. I don't want to put you on Ignore because you are not a bad poster. I wish there's a way to block posts with some keywords like "reported" or something like that. The same goes with @Salvy. I think those posts are only enjoyed by you two. You should just SMS each other and save all of us the trouble.
@Salvy , take the Corny Sarcasm Pledge™ with me. No more corny sarcasm about Sengun in 2025. it'll be fun
I pledge to no longer say anything good about Sengun sarcastically until 2025, from now on I will only say good things about Sengun seriously and in a non sarcastic manner.....
if we ever need a ruling on whether something is sarcastic versus sincere, do you think there's anyone here in the GARM who could advise us? seems like on occasion there may be some grey area that we might encounter . . . like in last night's game thread when all those losers were hating on Sengun. I would love to stick up for Sengun, but I don't want anyone to misinterpret that support as sarcasm.
Sengun does so many great things during the game (not sarcastic) that its going to be difficult not giving him props. I usually say players are him when they score a 3 or player haters go home but I need to be more careful so that my pinions and excitement don't offend anyone. There isn't a handbook on proper Clutchfans etiquette. I'm thinking of just posting tweets or just saying Sengun's pass or bucket was meh just ok....
