Slabbing up with muscle gains would provide marginal protection but would likely cost Tank the fast-twitch that makes him such a potent weapon. Similarly-proportioned players have had longer-termed but no less injury-interrupted success in the league (see Bob Sanders); in the mean, though, it's a career that had better be back-ended with fungible workplace skills, and sooner better than later.
Neither of them could be helped, that's what I remember being the most frustrated about. Sitting there thinking "why?!" I went through that about a dozen times, literally. 4 of them were totally my fault for being an idiot.
He must have wanted his kneecap so bad, because he definitely now has a different type of attachment to it.
I feel so bad for Tank, no way to avoid this injury, some guys are just unlucky. IMO, the injury threw the mo jo of the team off, and I think that's why the FG was missed and we seemed off the rest of the game............I feel so bad for this kid, he seems like a good teammate and a great person
It's about time these dudes started correcting themselves. Took them two days... This was something you could literally see on the replay. I said it immediately after it happened Just goes to show how they take the first scoop and run with it. Bunch of parrots...
That's what I was scared of. He is quick healer though. It wouldn't surprise me if he recovered from this injury faster than Xavi Hernandez back in the day. (5 months)
