No gm bats 100%. His wins more than make up for his misses.

Rox didnt do a bad job themselves lol, in only 3 years we managed to do a great set up and filled the cupboard with lots of promising talent.

I'd say if OKC is S the Rox get an A.

just like Morey has not won it all yet. You can be really good but it takes some luck as well.

Whether we can compete with OKC in the future depends much on what the Rockets do going forward. If we do well and OKC hits a few snags, then I can foresee us competing with them at some point. But the Rockets have much more work to do than OKC. Some tough choices ahead, whereas OKC is ready to compete now and their blueprint is already in place. The Rockets, IMO, are in the midst of making their blueprint now, and how successful it is depends on what happens with the core six. What those guys develop into, which are kept and which are traded or let go.

I so hope we get it right, cause if we don't, the coming years might be perpetual mediocrity rather than glory.

Its def an uphill battle but I dont see any mediocrity in Rox future at worst they're gonna be Harden or YaoMac Rockets again, one of the elite teams that keep losing to OKC. Rox already got 0.500 with Sengun and Eason out and the first year under Ime, they'll be even better this year.

Its kinda hard to defeat OKC they already had the no 1 seed, added Caruso and still have a bajillion picks to fix their roster. Their advantage will only grow over time.

Furphy is the next baby face Aussie wing player at 6'9.

Different strengths - more shooter and scorer than playmaker. More young Hayward.

Lol Denver, Minny despite ownership issues, Dallas, one of the LA teams are not going away in the next years and that is not counting out plethora of playoff caliber teams in the near future.

OKC is just one problem, more a problem for chip team like Boston, Houston is experiences away from experiences away.

It's one thing for Bulls to get Giddey, but it's another to not get any of the picks out of the deal. Presti has more picks than roster spots. It's very odd that Bulls couldn't negotiate any draft capital out of it.

    • Options also reduced. With how heavy Lavine's contract is, Chicago now, no longer can use Caruso as a sweetner to grease any potential Lavine + Caruso deal to move off of Lavine's bad contract.
    • Thunder's shooting and defensive coach couldn't get Giddey to improve his 3pt shooting and defense, does Chicago think their development coaches could do better than Thunder's Chip England and team?
    • Coby White and Giddey fit. - Is Chicago really going to take the ball from Coby's hands and give it to Josh.

This lopsided deal almost need a NBA investigation, as it seems the Bulls GM is giving favors to another team for no apparent reason.

Looks like OKC has learned from their past mistakes and look to pay everyone what they're worth and figure out the cap later...it's working for the Celtics.

They only got him for that price because he's been awful on offense this year too. They are banking that he returns to form of his two previous career years in Chicago.

Let's think of this as a percentage of the cap. It's going to be 11 to 13%. Seems like a good deal to me considering he is a role player.

SGA, Jalen, Chet will take up 100% of the cap eventually... Tax penalties galore out in a small market that was forced to deal Harden.

I’d be a bit worried If I was an OKC fan. I could see this contract becoming difficult to trade. They must really believe in Caruso. Hopefully he sucks balls.
