This shows that a nut job is a nut job. Yeah, is there a chance this guy was a sleeper and his cover was to be anti-Muslim? Pretty close to zero.

In reality, he may have very well hated Islam. Maybe he felt rejected by Germans and desperately wanted to be part of German culture, and even loved by the far right. But his attempts didn't work, and in fact he may have faced discrimination, or resented the anti-refugee talk happening, and that's what moved him to act on his anger.

The point being, why make these leaps and claim he is a Muslim so that people can have fuel to throw in the fire. Being a Muslim doesn't make you a bad person. Just as being a non-Muslim mean you are a good person that would never commit and act of terrorism. Instead of jumping to conclusions and believing anything on the internet...why not just see who he actually is and the actual motive.
