Missed the game did we win?

They had nobody else on the roster to take the starting SG position and the extension turns Jalen into a temporary stopgap measure that specifies the endpoint of his tenure with the Rockets.

They also won't pay him one dime of the $100M.

Take some satisfaction the Rockets two biggest problems (FVV and Jalen) will both be gone next year, maybe sooner.

Lies. Anyone who watched the game knows he was the only source of offense we had in the first half. Without him, we go down so much that we couldn't crawl back.

But, count yourself among the toothbrush chewers on this forum who think a single mistake somehow discounts all the good that came before.

 

How sad is your life that this is what you post after a win where Jalen was our leading scorer in the first half, where he kept us in the game? So pathetic.

Glad we got the win.... I was watching the first Q (before we had to go ride the Christmas Train in Alvin... don't you @ me... it was my first time... lol) and we did NOT look good,

 

While I understand the sentiment, I think Jalen had 22 points on 20 shots, not the other way around. Now I am in no way saying that it was a marvelous shooting performance, but I still think it looks a hell of a lot better having more points than shot attempts.

 

Did Jalen and Grady do a jersey swap for the cameras after the game?

 

LOL as usual everyone angry at Jalen Green and wanting him to traded but conveniently ignoring Reed Sheppard who was a total waste of 6 mins.

Hate Jalen who actually contributed to the win and ignore Sheppard who is the worst top 3 pick in the last 5 yrs.

Moan and cry about 33M but just stay quiet at a top 3 pick just wasted on someone too short to be playable? Typical favoritism of CF.

JG was actually playing great and carrying the team before he started getting hacked every play on no call. This is why his game devolves to taking dumb shots cuz when he drives in he just gets clobbered and gets tagged the turn over. He even got a tech after he got hacked and complained to the refs lol wtf. At least he has a reason for his nos what about Sheppard? 3 pts and got scored on B2B2B. Ime got so mad he got pulled after only 6 mins after making his only shot in the game. I know he is still a rookie but ******* 3 ppg? We happy with 1 pt per pick? Wtf! He is supposed to be a good defender in college but now he cant even haul ass, got scored on by everyone even rookies taken lower than him.

Instead of getting mad why FVV is scoring 0 pts while making 40M and Sheppard looks like BustyMcBust 30 games in all CF can complain about is JG.

Your negative obsession with Reed is weird. He's a rookie most of us didn't expect to do a whole lot this year. Moving the needle for the other youngsters is the much bigger priority. We are only 28 games into the season and a lot can still happen.

As expected, Reed lovers and Reed haters dominate the postings about him but your level of sheer vitriol goes far beyond anyone else on either side. It's quite the sideshow. Is there a reason for this? It reminds me of the Amen hate orgy from several folks last year after he returned from his illness/injury and didn't exactly set the world on fire his first 20 or so games. You may want to chill the anger and focus on guys who are in their 3rd or 4th year and have no excuses left. Might be good for your mental health.

 

If nobody expected him to do anything why were people calling him Cocaine Curry before the season? Anybody who says they expected Sheppard to be a total scrub is just lying to themselves. The fact that you are saying "a lot can still happen" means you expect Sheppard to do something this year, something that already contradicts your original post. Who expected Sheppard to average 3 ppg before the draft and still wanted him at 3? Is it you? Do you have posts saying that? I bet if we looked at your previous posts you'd have said he is exactly what this team needed and provide the shooting this team lacked. Si nah I dojn't believe most expected Sheppard to be a total scrub 28 games in otherwise we wouldn't have wanted him at 3. Thats just cope and shows the favoritism CF has for Reed Sheppard which we never had for any other top pick we've had.

You say I'm hating on Reed Sheppard but you are one of the people saying JG will be gone next year and we won't even need to pay his salary. If I'm someone who hates Sheppard just cuz I say he sucks when he is currently sucking what does that make you? JG at least is a full time starter and you already want him gone. We would've lost this game if JG didn't play. What about Sheppard? Pretty sure we would have lost this game if he DID play. Why is criticizing JG fine and ok but criticizing Sheppard means I have an unhealthy obsession with him? JG is a lot better than Sheppard you realize that yes or no?

I don't have anything against Reed Sheppard but if you are talking about the worst player of the game its gonna be him or FVV. So anybody talking smack about JG this game but ignoring Sheppard is just being biased and a hypocrite. Just assign blame in order of worst to least worst. You are giving him a pass but ignoring the opportunity cost of having an actual useful player we could've had in his place.
