"It was great for our team to be in a win or go home situation. the last time these guys have played in a high pressure game was the NCAA tournament if they went to college. Our guys got motivated for it. The teams that didn't make it where disappointed. They're feeling much better this morning (Alpi, Adams) It's weird for some guys the more time they have off the more 'achy' they feel. " -The Udoka

I don't know how long I'm supposed to ignore it for, but a third of the season is a lot. It's not like this is just a 5 game cold stretch or something like that. The efficiency is alarming for me, and it should be for anyone else. As I said before, these are Jalen Green numbers, and we have rightfully killed Jalen Green for his detrimental scoring efficiency. Sengun deserves it too, and it's something he has to fix because it's an enormous detriment.

Compare JBB and Atkinson when they were both Cavalier coaches.....

Now Mobley, a defensive player, looks more 2 way than ever........JBB just could not unlock him.

Defensive coaches are like that. And JBB was not even a great defensive coach.

You have to run easy plays on Offense. I don't care what your name is.

Yeah I'm not just gonna blame the coach. It's the same offense as last year but he is scoring less points on worse efficiency. Sure a better offensive coach would obviously help, but you can't just point the finger everywhere else. Sengun has to be better.

The difference is that Sengun has proven it over his first three years and is still producing in all other aspects of the game. He is missing a lot of bunnies. Do you really think that is a permanent issue or an anomaly? I vote on anomaly.

Well I think it goes a bit further than that, I don't just need him to revert back to his previous levels of efficiency, I need him to improve upon it. That's going to be necessary if he wants to become a superstar, he's got to get his TS% into the low/mid 60s. So even if it is an anomaly and he returns back to the high 50s, I still don't think that's good enough.

I think that's good enough until we get some better guards.

Progress is not linear. That’s something that is important to remember with a very young team. I believe he will improve this percentages but it may not be this year and that’s okay. I think he is playing better this year even with worse shooting. Also we are winning and he is a big part of that.

This guy is virtually the second coming of Hedo Turkoglu, the original Mr. 4th Quarter.
At the and of games he switches to turbo mode.
I believe this is a means of energy management.

Turkoglu was good, and the most important player of that Magic run besides Dwight. That said, I feel like Alpi is already a better player—and he has so much more room to grow.

Has been a real Jekyll and Hyde player. Looks like a star and scrub...pretty much in every game.

He's still be excellent overall, but I really wish he could put together 4 quarters.

Remember when Alpi used to get defensive rebounds and head downcourt with the ball - remember those amazing plays he'd make - sometimes for himself other times amazing dimes for teammates.

Now he's hamstrung by a mandate to immediately give up the ball as soon as he secures it.

I hate this way of play. I also hated it how anyone grabbed the rebound had feet in concrete and could only look to hand it off to Harden to bring it up as well.

Sengun's moves in the post his first three years were so fluid. Now his only post move is mechanically back it into the defender over and over. He almost looks uncomfortable doing it.

    Free Sengun.
