This is being misconstrued by the media. Tank Dell did not suffer a dislocated kneecap. He suffered a dislocated knee. Two HUGELY different things. At some point, they will have to issue a correction.
I had a very similar injury once upon a time, caused by playing basketball with little kids that shouldn't have been on the court... his was due to playing football worth scrubs that shouldn't have been on the field.
In the case of dislocated knee cap, the knee cap is usually manipulated back in place. A brace is used to keep it in place. PT to strengthen the muscles around it. Most cases do not require surgery. Four to six weeks recovery, but for a pro athlete, season over.
it's hard enough to beat the chiefs, they don't require any additional help. it's really difficult to beat them and the refs
