It feels like this team lacks situational awareness. Why call slow developing plays when you’re down 8. Need to go uptempo, move the ball downfield, not sideways. Just don’t understand how this is still an issue this late into the season.
Demeco can still be a good head coach. He is just very inexperienced. Being a defensive only coach means he has to turn it over to the OC on offense and we need a change there. I just don't know who that is. We should spend some big money if there is a good one to be had.
Our team is decimated - it sucks but we have literally nothing going for us on offense right now. Tank was our X Factor this game but with him gone, it’s just been God awful. The opponent keys in on Nico, our other receivers are garbage, and the O line can’t protect CJ. We also can’t expect Mixon to channel prime Arian Foster to carry us every game.
The offense was clicking, we were right there even with all the referee shenanigans. Losing Tank deflated these guys. Unless Mahomes throws a pick 6 this team is doing nothing today
I really don’t believe it would have mattered one bit. We’ve gotten beaten by a backup scrub QB already this season.
Mahomes is just check downing this defense to death and it’s nothing they can do about it. No adjustments, just give up
It’s always something though. If the team is so mentally weak that Dell leaving the field got them deflated then that tells you everything you need to know about the mental toughness of this team. They’re inconsistent all over the place, from the kicker on down.
Even if Mahomes threw 8 pick 6's, none of them would have counted. The refs don't allow that kind of thing
