Yeah, Yeah. And get rid of those dunks also. Next year they should put a hard bottom on the basket to slow things down to the way it used to be.

 

Maybe in OT the teams expand to 7 players on court and two basketballs. That would really liven it up.

It's lazy basketball settling for threes, but I wouldn't get rid of it. Maybe change the dimensions of the shot and the floor, but I wouldn't lose the three pointer. Jacking them up constantly has definitely hurt the game though in my opinion.

 

They need to bring back in-game punching

 

First off, guard the three. How teams just let Boston shoot 3's all night is beyond me. You can guard beyond the line. Every time I see Steph start to drive I'm yelling to watch out for the step back three. Defenses are dumb.

That aside, it does take away from the one on one aspect of the game that so many people used to love. Matchups make entertainment. Three point bombing is a bail out in the driveway or on an nba court. We want to see you match up and let's see who's better. When you play one on one you don't take threes. You go to the hole. It's just more fun. Ball movement is the same thing. It's strategy. Who is better at it.

I don't know how a neutral observer could watch the first few games today and say the basketball wasn't great or needs to be great again.

They were great! Meanwhile the NFL games sucked and they had to bring out Beyonce.

 

Get rid of the sideline 3. Extend the line two feet. This **** is unwatchable.

 

What about a Game of HORSE instead of Over Time?
