Why shouldn't the Dems try to needle Trump and get under his skin?

I think it would be best for human civilization if the media tries to detach the world's wealthiest man from the hip of the world's most powerful man.

Its good for you too dude. "You are asking for a leopard ate my face" situation going on like this.

A idiom or meme referring to regret from defending or supporting something that eventually harms your own self interest.

Example would be a "anchor baby" voting for Trump and then the Trump administration denaturalizing him.

No she received a majority of the votes as she was on the ticket with Biden. In addition, the comparison is silly since parties can choose candidates any way they wish. However the constitution spells out explicitly the way to determine executive and cabinet.

Elon Is the Target of the Day

    https://hotair.com/david-strom/2024/12/19/elon-is-the-target-of-the-day-n3798050

    excerpt:

It's about the concentration of force. You pick a powerful target, destroy it, and move on to the next, and the next, and the next. Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals frames the strategy.

Make it personal. Make it hurt a particular person. Ideas don't feel the pain, but a person can get rattled and back off. That is the point of the strategy.

The left tried this with Trump, and it didn't work, but that doesn't mean it isn't a powerful strategy. It's just that Trump is sui generis. Nobody is like Trump.

Show me where i said he was literally Hitler

And I like the complaint, "it's so unfair the dems are attacking Trump as weak to Elon" when Trump rips everyone apart.

The Democrat establishment (such as the leftist posting in this thread) and the Republican establishment (none in this thread) are in full meltdown mode. After several decades, their powers are coming to an end, years of both side pilfering the productivity of the American people and the rest of the world. We are entering a new turning that will be controlled by moderates. Keep in mind the majority of Americans are moderate, and they had enough of both parties bullshitting them. Its quite amusing watching the leftist in this thread go in full meltdown mode completely oblivious to what is going on. The most productive (ex)CEO's are throwing their support to this new power structure.
This isn't about Musk or Trump. Zuck and Bezos are fierce competitors of Musk and have always been very anti-Trump. They, like most Americans, are tired of the leftist agenda. We don't give a **** about your pronouns. We don't hate other countries or their citizens. We don't hate/dislike other people for their culture or race. We are tired of the endless wars, no matter how justified they may be. The modern leftist is obsolete, left to drown in the rising tide of their salty tears. Good riddance.
