I'm not sure why right wingers think Musk or any other of the Trump billionaire club gives a sh*t about them, their worker's rights, their pay, safety, affordable healthcare, the air and water they breathe, or assistance when hurricanes or weather disasters strike, but they sure do love having billionaires in charge. They might be in for a big wakeup call in 3 years.

It’s ironic how maga conspiracy theorists love to come up with theories about how billionaire Illuminati people are plotting to like kill off half of humanity for their perception of a greater good and to enrich themselves. Yet they love the idea of Elon Musk running the world and having complete control of the United States…. Elon is like the one guy who has both the power and the delusion to actually pull of anything that is close to those doomsday scenarios they love to get worked up over. Putting him in charge of the country was maybe the dumbest thing that America has done and they did it fully knowing damn well it was going to happen. As dangerous as Trump is I think Elon has more potential to do harm than Trump. He does have more potential to do GOOD than Trump though but in terms of a risk assessment for the human race… that’s an easy call.
Elon's wealth certainly amplifies his influence, but his following is the bigger deal. George Soros can't move the needle with voters like Elon can.
