    Glad that Mahomes is playing. This team needs a steady diet of elite competition on both sides of the ball. We already clinched so there is no need to stress about wins or losses.

    Weather shouldn't be an issue, Stroud played his college ball in Ohio and all, but weirdly we seem to play like **** when it's cold.

    I don't think it's BS myself. I just think his ankle never heals right because he never sits out. He probably just keeps aggravating it running around trying to avoid getting tackled. There are guys who want to play so bad they won't sit out and nurse an injury for 2 or 3 or 4 weeks until they feel 90% healthy. Maybe he's one of them. You think all those guys who played over 200 consecutive games didn't play with injuries? Favre played 297 consecutive games, and no way he was gonna sit out and nurse a strain or sprain. Maybe he has that mentality. He doesn't give me any reason to believe otherwise.

    It’s not fake but he milks them and acts like they’re worse than they are. No I don’t think he’s got Brett Favre toughness. Not even close.

    I live in KC and play tennis with a Chiefs beat writer. He thinks Mahomes will play, but it didn't sound like he had inside info. He just said Mahomes is a maniac

    I'm honestly more scared about playing Wentz than Mahomes.

    This franchise has a history of getting absolutely embarrassed by backup QBs.
