they should give this up and bring back tom cruise and its writers to reprise the character. anything from tom cruise is a massive downgrade.

There seems to be plenty of blame all the way around. The kids on their bikes might well not have been legit, but the guy standing in the street trying to be a LEO doesn't seem legit either. Consider NSFW because of language.
Something similar happened to me a few years ago. I have a FJ Cruiser with big mud wheels and it's just loud and may sound 'faster' than it's really going on side streets. I'm driving through my neighborhood going around 30 in a 30 and this guy does this angry stomp walk right in front of my FJ, screaming about me slowing down because of kids. I put the car in park and get out and yell at him to GTFO and scold him for setting a poor example for his kids who were standing right there in the driveway. Once I get out of my ride he sort of chickens out and goes back to his driveway, but it was my intention to just get him out of my way so I could keep going, not to get into a physical confrontation. I actually have an unremarkable dash cam video of this somewhere with me out of the frame. Bottom line, people lose their ****ing minds when their kids are 'in danger' and logic leaves the room. The 'in danger' part is all about perspective.
