He's a good player. You wondwer why he's been on every team in the league. He's like a rental or something.
He is instant Offense off the bench.....minimal starter. He is dropping 16+. I heard he is sort of a prick.
Jalen and Alpi liked him. I think that's what led to Porter wanting to start a fight with him the season after Green said this: (add some Nyquil nighttime) "It’s been great. He [Schroeder] is a big energy guy. He is a real leader. From the jump, he just came in talking. Trying to get us going early. Trying to get us to lock in and buy in. And it’s been real fun.”
Damn. I wanted Dennis S. But then again there might be some resentment from the Nets cuz of the way we robbed them in the Harden trade maybe that's why the Nets would rather give Dennis to our rivals GSW.
Haha I am not saying he is a prick to all his teammates. Sometimes you are a prick to your surroundings, but I think the World Cup title helped him mature for sure. Even in Germany, I can quote a few news articles that described him as snobby, arrogant and vulgar..... People forget when there is success, but it is good to remember to not fall back to your old shticks.
He has been on so many teams because he is one of the least popular guys in the league with his teammates and coaches. He is just considered a bad dude. He has stayed a few places for a short period or time and been okay - but ultimately the fact he is a cunt comes out.
This being the biggest news and getting major coverage online at least is another indication of what’s wrong with the NBA. Had the Rockets traded for him, no way it would’ve been this big thing.
Anybody remember the year Mike James averaged 20ppg for the Rockets and cashed in with the Raptors? Sometimes meh-level players get an opportunity to fill a void on a really bad team. That 16ppg is an artifact of how bad the Nets are. On a good team he's.still the same guy he's been for the rest of his career. Nets got good value.
