I was just asking because you assume that you know how white people think and feel and what they want. If you’re not white, how would you know? I cannot claim to know that about minorities nor would I attempt to pretend like I do. It’s considered racist, ya know.

He said MAGA guys (who may or may not be white) take pleasure in seeing a white guy kill a black man. Is that unfair to “MAGA guys”? Yeah, probably. But, as I said, “MAGA guys” isn’t a racial category, so saying the statement is blatant racism is weird. Perhaps the racism you perceive is him characterizing Penny as a “white guy” who popped his cherry in killing a black man. Well — take the opposite of that (referring to someone who killed a white man as a “black guy who popped his cherry by killing a white man”) and reflect on whether you’d consider it blatant racism. I very much doubt you would. I know I wouldn’t.

How about we don’t look at race in the penny case. Can you even do that? Nobody was cheering him on because he killed a black guy. He was called a hero for protecting people on the subway. Some of those people that he protected were minorities. Factoring race here is nothing more than baiting. If Penny had choked out a crazy white guy, this doesn’t even make the national news and you wouldnt be writing paragraphs of mental gymanastics trying to justify blatant racism. You wouldn't care. Race is not a factor in the Penny case.
I don’t believe race was a factor, or at least the justice system shouldn’t presume that it was. But if someone believes differently, that isn’t “blatant racism”. You clearly misread his post and conflated his use of “MAGA guys” with “white guys”. If he said “white guys” take pleasure in seeing white men killing black men than I would agree that is racist. But that’s not what he said.
